The 4th-seeded Pugwash District Panthers thumped the 5th-seeded Tatamagouche North Colchester Mustangs 87-33 as Jasmine Allen scored 26. Justina Howell led the Mustangs with 15.
The 2nd-seeded Neil’s Harbour Cabot Academy Trailblazers defeated the 7th-seeded host Halifax Armbrae Academy 80-51. Kelsey Dixon paced the Trailblazers with 33. Michela Ashford added 12 and Alannah Williams 10. Mattea Cacchione paced Armbrae with 12. Armbrae also included Erin O’Rourke.
In the last quarterfinal, the 6th-seeded Highland Baddeck Academy Broncos stunned the 3rd-seeded Sacred Heart of Halifax Sharks 60-54. Karina Kuchta paced the Broncos with 26. Cecilia Williamson added 14 and Lake Cameron 11. Claire McCusker led the Sharks with 24.
In the semis, the top-seeded Oxford Regional Golden Bears crushed the 4th-seeded Pugwash District Panthers 76-36 as Maddy Swan scored 32.
In the other semi, the 2nd-seeded Neil’s Harbour Cabot Academy Trailblazers dusted the 6th-seeded Highland Baddeck Academy Broncos 65-47. Kelsey Dixon paced the Trailblazers with 21. Rhiana Dixon added 18 and Michaela Ashford 13. Richelle Maloney paced the Broncos with 12. Michaela Roberts added 11.
In the bronze medal match, the 6th-seeded Highland Baddeck Academy Broncos dumped the 4th-seeded Pugwash District Panthers 72-61 as Karina Kuchta scored 28.
In the final, the top-seeded Oxford Regional Golden Bears clipped the 2nd-seeded Neil’s Harbour Cabot Academy Trailblazers 57-45 as Maddy Swan scored 22 and Savannah Davis 12. Rhiana Dixon led the Trailblazers with 20. Michaela Ashford added 11.
