In the quarterfinals, held in Neils Harbour, the top-seeded Tatamagouche North Colchester Mustangs stomped the 8th-seeded Terre Noire Cape Breton Highlands Academy Huskies 65-37.

        The 4th-seeded Lockeport Regional Green Wave dispatched the 8th-seeded host Neil’s Harbour Cabot Trailblazers 98-83

        The 2nd-seeded Oxford Regional Golden Bears dusted the 7th-seeded Halifax Fountain Academy Sharks 76-32.

        In the last quarterfinal, the 6th-seeded North Queens Rural Spartans stunned the 3rd-seeded Pictou Academy Pitbulls 61-53.

        In the semis, the top-seeded Tatamagouche North Colchester Mustangs dusted the 4th-seeded Lockeport Regional Green Wave 85-63.

        In the other semi, the 2nd-seeded Oxford Regional Golden Bears clipped the 6th-seeded North Queens Rural Spartans 83-64.

        In the bronze medal match, the 4th-seeded Lockeport Regional Green Wave edged the 6th-seeded North Queens Rural Spartans 90-85.

        In the final, the top-seeded Tatamagouche North Colchester Mustangs defeated the 2nd-seeded Oxford Regional Golden Bears 71-57 to capture their second crown in three years. “It was pretty emotional,” said guard Tyler Johnson. “Not many people get to win one, especially in their final year.” Johnson scored 29. Channing Hines chipped in 22. Mustangs coach Scott Armstrong said “I think having all that senior leadership this year was the difference.” Johnson agreed. “We just kept reminding ourselves what it felt like (to lose) and we didn’t want that feeling again. So we just kept saying let’s go out there and win this. We just worked as a team. We had a lot of help from our Grade 10 starters and we had a balanced attack. We all did our jobs.”
