In the final, the top-seeded Middleton Regional Monarchs edged the 2nd-seeded Springhill Golden Eagles 77-75 as Julie Theisen hit the winner with 2.9 seconds to play. Theison paced the Monarchs with 28. Sydney Balser led the Golden Eagles with 28. The Golden Eagles had rallied from a six-point deficit late in the game to knot the score at 75. Down 75-72 with 6.2 seconds left, Springhill’s Brenna Casey was fouled on a three-point attempt and converted on all three free throws. Eagles coach Darrel McLellan said “I feel that we played well, they worked hard. “They never gave up. I’m pleased.” Theisen led the Wolverines with 28. Lauren Wentzell added 19 and Sydney Smith 15.
