The 5th-seeded Halifax Grammar Gryphons dispatched the 4th-seeded Southwest Mabou Dalbrae Academy Dragons x-x.

The 2nd-seeded Digby Regional Mariners defeated the 7th-seeded Windsor King’s-Edgehill x-x.

In the last quarterfinal, the 3rd-seeded Shelburne Regional Rebels defeated the 6th-seeded Bridgewater Vikings x-x.

        In the semis, the top-seeded Springhill Golden Eagles clipped the 5th-seeded Halifax Grammar Gryphons 61-52 as Patti Gilroy scored 31, Sara Laurie 15, Kathryn MacDonald 11, Lacey Rushton 3 and Hilary Burbine 1.

        In the other semi, the 2nd-seeded Digby Regional Mariners pounded the 3rd-seeded Shelburne Regional Rebels 64-48 as Leeann LeBlanc scored 27.

        In the bronze medal match, the Shelburne Regional Rebels defeated the 5th-seeded Halifax Grammar Gryphons 36-33.

        In the final, the top-seeded Springhill Golden Eagles dumped the 2nd-seeded Digby Regional Mariners 76-65 to capture their third consecutive provincial title. Kathryn MacDonald paced the Golden Eagles with 20. Patti Gilroy added 16, Sara Laurie 15, Lacey Rushton 8, Sam McCormick 2 and Hilary Burbine 2. Golden Eagles co-coach Charlie Chambers said winning three straight titles was unbelievable. “Proud doesn’t describe it. It’s overwhelming. It’s fantastic,” he told the Amherst Daily News. “It was certainly unexpected. … The fans were our sixth man. The gym was just rockin’. I’m so happy for Sara and Patti. I’m so proud and lucky to have coached these two young women.” Assistant Kerry Curtis added that “the whole team came together and played the way that we had to.” Chambers was quick to deflect the recognition to others after the victory. Emily Dugas paced the Mariners with 24. Anne Balser added 20 and Joleesa Robinson 10.
