In the quarterfinals, held at Margaree Forks, the 4th-seeded Bridgetown Regional Trojans thrashed the 5th-seeded Musquodoboit Harbour Eastern Shore District Schooners 76-57. The Schooners included Jodi Whyte, Jennifer MacInnis, Nicole David, Paige Stevens, Alana MacLellan, Katherine Parks, Mindy Roma, Michelle Dooks.
3rd-seeded Windsor King’s-Edgehill dumped 6th-seed Kentville Kings County Academy Kodiaks 68-59. The Kodiaks included Kattie Haddock, April Denney, Julie Roberts, Lynn Spinney, Caitlin MacDermott, Krisann Lord, Kendra Lord.
The top-seeded Margaree Forks District whipped the 8th-seeded Guysborough Academy Eagles 87-30. The Eagles included Nicole Avery, Karen Long, Mary Ann Hanifan, Karen MacIsaac, Amanda DeCoff, Angela Cleary, Krista Long, Robin Long.
In the last quarterfinal, the 2nd-seeded Dominion MacDonald Eagles defeated the 7th-seeded Springhill Golden Eagles 82-58. The Golden Eagles included Kim O’Brien, Jennifer Clark, Alisha Brown, Angela Strathearn, Rebekah Williams.
In the semis, the 2nd-seeded Dominion MacDonald Eagles edged Windsor King’s-Edgehill 68-60.
In the other semi, top-seeded Margaree Forks District defeated the Bridgetown Regional Trojans 56-46.
In the bronze medal match, Windsor King’s-Edgehill defeated the Bridgetown Regional Trojans 63-53 as Nicole Landry scored 20, Sarah Penland 18, Susanna Ashley 15, Laura Robb 5 and Sarah Lynds 4. Margaret Messinger led Bridgetown with 21. Heather Minard added 8, Amanda Steadman 8, Melissa Rafuse 6, Sara MacDonald 4, Amber Kaulback 3 and Teresa Moore 3.
In the final, top-seeded Margaree Forks District clipped the Dominion MacDonald Eagles 64-44 as Caroline MacFarlane scored 26, Catherine MacFarlane 15, Genevieve Godreau 12, Allison Gillis 9 and Elizabeth Doyle 2. Coleen Gillis led MacDonald with 21. Carol Royal added 12, Devon MacKillop 4, Tanya Little 2, Kelly Saccary 2, Deena Corbett 2 and Sheryl MacDonald 1.
