In the quarterfinals, held in Shelburne and postponed two days by snow (and then several of the games were held in Barrington), the top-seeded Halifax Grammar Gryphons dumped the 8th-seeded Port Hawkesbury Strait Area Education and Recreation Centre Saints 82-52. Jeremiah Wagner led the Saints? with 36. The Saints (coached by Jason Seymour) included Keegan Bourinot, Mark MacLeod, Blake Foster, Carmen D’Intino, Seamus MacDonald, John MacInnis, Nathan MacIntyre Hayes, Tyson Carr, Mitchell MacCuspic, Alfred Burgesson, Mike MacMaster and Ray MacMaster.

        The 5th-seeded New Germany Saints thrashed the 4th seeded St. Bernard St. Mary’s Bay Academy Stingrays 78-65 as Jeremy Wagner scored 36, Caleb Barry 23, Devin Dexter 12 and Ryan Kaulback 8. Shyne Clements led the Stingrays with 32. Mackenzie Ford added 12, Layton Hill 11, Neshitt Garrett 6 and Brandon Doucett 4.

        The 2nd-seeded host Shelburne Regional Rebels dumped the 7th-seeded Dartmouth Ecole Carrefour du Grand-Havre Leopards 80-52.

        In the last quarterfinal, the 3rd-seeded Monastery East Antigonish Mustangs clubbed the 6th-seeded Kennetcook Hants North Rural Flames 73-53. The Mustangs broke to a 26-9 lead and romped. They led 38-21 at the half and 61-30 after three quarters. “We pretty much controlled game from get-go,” Mustangs coach Terry Long told the Port Hawkesbury Reporter. “Our defensive strategy worked like a charm, and they had no easy shots.” Kendall Breen paced the Mustangs with 19, along with 10 boards. Colin Jarvis added 17, along with 5 boards and 5 assists, and Craig Perry 14, along with 13 boards. The Flames (coached by Keith Andrews) included Cole Spencer, Justin Beach, Todd Bartlett, Kyle McCulloch, Judson Wiseman, Brandon Bond, Nicholas Steward, Clifford Isenor, Evan McLellan, Steven Sun, Glenn Harvie, Colton Beattie, Dylan Wells and Dustin Harvie.

        In the semis, the 2nd-seeded Shelburne Regional Rebels dusted the 3rd-seeded Monastery East Antigonish Mustangs 76-62. The Mustangs took an early 10-0 lead on treys by Craig Perry and Kendall Breen. “We were rolling and then the physical play became apparent, and, with two refs from Shelburne, the Mustangs were fighting a losing battle from that point on,” Mustangs coach Terry Long told the Port Hawkesbury Reporter. “We stuck with them, being down only five at the half as Kendall hit a deep three at the buzzer. However, a very strong third quarter by Shelburne put them up 11 after three. In the fourth, the Mustangs didn’t quit. We battled back to get within four and then a few questionable calls changed the game from that point on.” Craig Perry led the Mustangs with 20. Kendall Breen added 18 and Colin Jarvis 12.

        In the other semi, the top-seeded Halifax Grammar Gryphons stomped the 5th-seeded New Germany Saints 87-58.

        In the bronze medal match, the 3rd-seeded Monastery East Antigonish Mustangs clubbed the 5th-seeded New Germany Saints 83-55 as Kendall Breen scored 19, including 5 treys and 6 assists. Colin Jarvis added 18, including 5 treys and 13 assists. Craig Perry scored 16. The Mustangs finished 30-8 on the season.

        In the final, the top-seeded Halifax Grammar Gryphons clipped the 2nd-seeded Shelburne Regional Rebels 78-59 after leading 37-34 at the half. The Rebels quickly found themselves in foul trouble in the second half and the Gryphons capitalized at the line. Kris Buchanan paced the Rebels with 18. Doug Poole added 12, Steven Greig 12, Darren Deinstadt 11, Keithyon Shirley 5, Quinn Butler 2, and Matt Jacklyn 2.
