In the quarterfinals, held in New Waterford, the top-seeded Amherst Regional Vikettes dumped the 8th-seeded Milford Hants East Rural Tigers 58-24 as Ashley MacEachern scored 10, Kathryn Hillier 9, Natasha Gouchie 9, Ashton Hunter 9, Emily Pipes 9, Jill Gould 6, Danielle Young 4, Paige Lewis 4 and Lauren MacEachern 3. The Tigers included Emily Davenport.

        The 5th-seeded Canning Northeast Kings Education Centre Titans edged the 4th-seeded host New Waterford Breton Educational Centre Bears 62-58 by nailing their free throws down the stretch. The Bears led 27-19 at the half. Kelsey Schofield paced the Titans with 18. Sera Serikaya led the Bears with 28. The Bears (coached by Jennifer MacKinnon, assisted by Lacey Bursey and Holly Bailey) also included Amy Sheppard, Kayla Walzak, Brianne Power, Terryn MacNeil, Barbara Burke, Jessica MacNeil, Larissa LeBlanc, Jessica MacKinnon, Abbey MacLeod, Jennifer MacNeil, Baillie Poirier, Amy Sheppard and Lisa Oliver.

        The 3rd-seeded Middleton Monarchs stomped the 6th-seeded Middle Sackville Millwood Knights 80-28. The Knights included Morgan Richardson.

        In the last quarterfinal, the 2nd-seeded Yarmouth Consolidated Vikettes dispatched the 7th-seeded Berwick Central Kings Rural Gators 60-41. The Gators included Mikayla Webster.

        In the semis, the top-seeded Amherst Regional Vikettes stomped the 5th-seeded Canning Northeast Kings Education Centre Titans 69-33 as Kathryn Hiller scored 21. Lauren MacEachern added 13, Paige Lewis 10, Danielle Young 5, Natasha Gouchie 5, Jill Gould 5, Maitland Terrio 4, Ashton Hunter 2 and Iren Minguez 2. Nicole Tibbetts paced the Titans with 14.

        In the other semi, the 3rd-seeded Middleton Monarchs nipped the 2nd-seeded Yarmouth Consolidated Vikettes 75-72 in overtime as Kelsey Charlton scored 19. Allie Berry led the Vikettes with 27.

        In the bronze medal match, the 2nd-seeded Yarmouth Consolidated Vikettes clipped the 5th-seeded Canning Northeast Kings Education Centre Titans 65-53. Allie Berry paced the Vikettes with 38. Kelsey Schofield led the Titans with 26.

        In the final, the top-seeded Amherst Regional Vikettes defeated the 3rd-seeded Middleton Monarchs 64-59 as Danielle Young scored 23, Lauren MacEachern 15, Kathryn Hillier 11, Paige Lewis 7, Ashley MacEachern 4, Natasha Gouchie 2, Leah Patterson 2 and Maitland Terrio 1. β€œI am filled with pride for a great bunch of student athletes who represented themselves, their school and their community to the highest standard this weekend,” Vikettes coach Gillian Ellis told the Amherst News. β€œIt is a good feeling to bring the banner back to Amherst. … Everyone came together as one. We did the right things and finished on top. … Middleton was a tough opponent who fought until the end. I take my hat off to their players and coaches. They played hard the entire game and made for an exciting finish. That is how championship basketball was meant to be played.”  Julie Theison led the Monarchs with 23.
