The 4th-seeded Canning Northeast Kings EC Titans thrashed the 5th-seeded Cambridge Station Berwick Central Kings Rural Gators 83-37 as MacKenzie Ellsworth scored 22 and Laura Roy 13.
The 2nd-seeded New Waterford Breton EC Bears dumped the 7th-seeded Liverpool Warriors 64-48 as Heather Marsh scored 13, Kristin Wilton 12, Kaleigh McDonald 9 and Lauren Gillis 9. Kelsey MacKenzie led the Warriors with 16. Sarah Smith added 10 and Chelsea Whalen 8.
In the last quarterfinal, the 3rd-seeded Middleton Regional Martens defeated the 6th-seeded Chester Grant Forest Heights Falcons 57-40 as Sam Elliott scored 20, Carly Gillis 8, Elizabeth Baker 8 and Lindsay Roy 8.
In the semis, the 4th-seeded Canning Northeast Kings EC Titans stunned the top-seeded Amherst Regional Vikettes 65-54 as Lydia VanVilsteren scored 13, Laura Roy 11 and Mackenzie Ellsworth 10. Taylor MacDonald led the Vikettes with 17. Meredith Smith added 16.
In the other semi, the 3rd-seeded Middleton Regional Martens thrashed the 2nd-seeded New Waterford Breton Education Centre Bears 70-39. Middleton led 29-3 after one quarter and 46-13 at the half. Carly Gillis paced the Wolverines with 23. Sam Elliott added 17, while Elizabeth Baker nabbed 13 boards.
In the bronze medal match, the top-seeded Amherst Regional Vikettes dumped the 2nd-seeded New Waterford Breton EC Bears 71-57 as Laura Holloway scored 22, Meredith Smith 18 and Katelyn Peters 14. Kaleigh MacDonald led the Bears with 25. Kristin Wilton added 23. The Bears (coached by Jason Kavanaugh, assisted by Justin Kavanaugh, manager Robynn Fraser) also included Lacey Bursey, Melissa Caume, Jacquelyn Smith, Joanna Gallant, Adeana McLeod, Brittany Mackenzie, Lauren Gillis, Nancy Walzak, Colleen Power, Marilyn Burke and Heather Marsh.
In the final, the 3rd-seeded Middleton Regional Monarchs nipped the 4th-seeded Canning Northeast Kings EC Titans 62-61. The Wolverines led 44-21 at the half but the Titans roared back to within 48-44 after three quarters. The Titans cut the margin to one with a minute to play but Kailee Hebb nailed a trey and Jani Martinius added a transition layup to extend the lead to six before Middleton hung on for the win. Martinius led the Wolverines with 22. Hebb added 20. Laura Roy paced NKEC with 17. Lydia VanVilsteren added 12, Kelsey Schofield 12 and MacKenzie Ellsworth 10.
