In the quarterfinals, held in Amherst, the host and top-seeded Amherst Regional Vikettes clocked the 8th-seeded Musquodoboit Harbour Eastern Shore Mariners 89-24 after leading 42-10 at the half. Katy van Vulpen and Jessica Pedersen each scored 16 to lead the Vikettes. Natalie Gould added 10, Kaili van Vulpen 10, Melissa Berry 10, Julie MacLeod 8, Alisha Gaudet 5, Marlon Smith 4, Ashley Bourgeois 4 Nicole Nixon 4 and Taylor MacKenzie 2. Megan Goguen led the Mariners with 10. “There is a little bit more pressure at home,” Vikettes coach Fred Gould told the Amherst Daily News. “We didn’t shoot overly well, but once we got our legs, we were okay.” The Mariners also included Chantal Pittman.
The 4th-seeded Brookfield South Colchester Wolves clipped the 5th-seeded Canning North Kings Education Centre Titans 50-38. The Titans included Jessica Roy.
The 2nd-seeded Auburn West Kings Wolverines clubbed the 7th-seeded Port Hawkesbury Strait Area Education and Recreation Centre Saints 60-43. The Saints included Jennifer Chisholm, Laura Leslie, Tonya Matthews.
In the last quarterfinal, the 3rd-seeded Middleton Regional Martens dusted the 6th-seeded Chester Basin Forest Heights Community School Falcons 70-17.
In the semis, the top-seeded Amherst Regional Vikettes stomped the 4th-seeded Brookfield South Colchester Wolves 75-24 as Jessica Pederson scored 12. Holly Killen paced the Wolves with 9.
In the other semi, the 3rd-seeded Middleton Regional Martens stomped the 2nd-seeded Auburn West Kings Wolverines 62-43 as Stacy Elliott scored 27. Katlyn Verran led the Wolverines with 14. Lisa Styles added 13.
In the bronze medal match, the 4th-seeded Brookfield South Colchester Wolves dispatched the 2nd-seeded Auburn West Kings Wolverines 48-36 as Melissa Isenor scored 18, Holly Killen 15 and Joleen Balagot 13. Jack Geiger led the Wolverines with 10.
In the final, the top-seeded Amherst Regional Vikettes clubbed the 3rd-seeded Middleton Regional Martens 53-37 as Melissa Berry scored 15 and Katy Van Vulpen 14. Stacey Elliott paced the Martens with 15. Katelyn Woodworth added 11. Amherst led 31-18 at the half.
