In the provincial semis, Antigonish High defeated New Waterford St. Agnes 21-16; 27-27 (Total: 48-43).
In the other semi, the Caledonia North Queens Rural Spartans defeated the Musquodoboit Rural Mustangs 24-26; 20-14 (Total: 44-40).
In the provincial finals, Antigonish High captured its third straight provincial crown as it defeated the Caledonia North Queens Rural Spartans 30-28; 20-9 (Total: 50-37).
In game one, Antigonish took a 9-4 lead at the quarter, led 13-11 at the half and held on for a 30-28 victory over North Queens as Oona Landry and Adelaide MacDonald each scored 13. Mona Macdonald added 3 and Germaine Macdonald 1. Caledonia was paced by Isabelle Conrad 14, Neil Cameron 13 and Mary Conrad 1.
In game two, Antigonish defeated Caledonia 20-9 after take a 13-8 lead at the half and outscoring North Queens 7-1 in the second half. The tough defense of Pearl Skinner, captain Peggy MacIntyre and Catherine MacVicar allowed North Queens only one field goal through the entire contest. Antigonish was led by Adelaide MacDonald 11, Mona MacDonald 4, Germain MacDonald 3 and Oona Landry 2. North Queens was paced by Neil Cameron 5 and Isabelle Conrad 4.
