The 5th-seeded Windsor King’s-Edgehill School edged 4th-seeded host Middleton Regional Monarchs 68-66 as Christian Lakes scored 19, Josh Baker 12, Dean Pan 12, Devji Dashi 8, Zack Lakes 5, Yann Simboro 4, Jack Li 2 and Devan Dube 2. Ryan Gates led the Monarchs with 17. Cameron Chisholm added 12, Colton Richards 12, Zach Beaton 10, Sean Lachance 9, Colton Evans 4 and Liam Saxon 2. “We were up by 10 against Kings Edgehill and unfortunately we let that lead slip away. We ended up losing by two with about three seconds left. So that was a heartbreaker for the guys but, you know, lessons learned. They build character, those types of losses,” Monarchs coach Mike Mason told the Annapolis County Spectator.
