In the quarterfinals, held at Amherst Regional, the 3rd-seeded Bridgewater Vikings whipped the 6th-seeded Musquodoboit Harbour Eastern Shore District Schooners 64-51.

        The 4th-seeded Middle Sackville Millwood Knights defeated the 5th-seeded Terre Noire Breton Education Centre Bears 91-81 as Shawn Zinck scored 28. The Bears (coached by Darnell Young, assisted by Dennis Hoder), included David Sudworthy, Steve Davidson, Gavin MacKenzie, Chad Burke, Kevin Hurley, David Marsh, Blaire Boone, Josh Boudreau, Jonathan McDonald, Ryan Barrie, Adam Wilton and Kyle MacDonald.

        The 2nd-seeded Amherst Regional Vikings thrashed 7th-seeded Windsor King’s-Edgehill 77-61 as Matt Fowler scored 20, Paul Sumbu 15, Mike Wile 14, Ryan Oake 8, Alex Brown 4, Corey O’Briend 2, Lawson McLeod 2 and Mike Adams 1. King’s Edgehill included Max Wang.

        In the last quarterfinal, the top-seeded Berwick Central Kings Rural Gators stomped the 8th-seeded North Kings Education Centre 83-57.

        In the semis, the top-seeded Berwick Central Kings Rural Gators defeated the Middle Sackville Millwood Knights 73-47.

        In the other semi, the Amherst Regional Vikings dumped the Bridgewater Vikings 60-45 as Matt Fowler scored 19, Mike Wile 11, Paul Sumbu 11, Loren Fawthrop 10 and Alex Brown 5. The Vikings led 29-28 at the half. Kyle Zinck led the Vikings with 20.

        In the bronze medal match, the Bridgewater Vikings defeated the 4th-seeded Middle Sackville Millwood Knights x-x.

        In the final, the 2nd-seeded Amherst Regional Vikings defeated the top-seeded Berwick Central Kings Rural Gators 45-40 as Matt Fowler scored 28, including 20 in the second half. Alex Brown added 6, Loren Fawthrop 4, Mike Wile 3, Paul Sumbu 3 and Jamie Gamblin 1. “It’s a great feeling. I didn’t know if we could do it because Central Kings was such a good team,” Matt Fowler told the Amherst Daily News. “We all worked hard and dragged out the win. … It’s been great playing beside those guys. We had a lot of chemistry and have had some special moments as a team.” Vikings coach Reg Caulfield said “the key to our success this weekend was our preparation before every game and each player fulfilled the role he was given. The X-factor in all three games was our defensive intensity, holding teams to under 50 points.” The score was knotted at 17 at the half. Jason Shepherd led Central Kings with 16. Nick DeAdder added 7, Jeremy Shepherd 7, Marc Pyle 6 and Devin Hatt 4.
