In the quarterfinals, held in Wolfville, the 8th-seeded and wild card Riverview Royals stunned the top-seeded Halifax Grammar Gryphons 69-51. Ainsley MacIntyre paced the Royals with 22. Laura Andrea added 19 and Kara MacKinnon 9. The Gryphons (coached by Kathy Spurr, assisted by Kelly Donald) included Tessa Stammberger, Hilary Grantmyre, Kathleen Delicaet, Jane Mclaughlin, Belce Yoruk, Katie Ross, Denesha Sule, Hilary Grantmyre, Adelle Goodfellow, Amy Minnikin and Paige Conrad.
The 4th-seeded Bedford C.P. Allen Cheetahs clipped the 5th-seeded Antigonish Dr. John Hugh Gillis Royals 71-56 as Laura Langille scored 23 and Caroline Healy 16. Melissa Gottschall paced the Royals with 20. Melanie Stewart added 10. The Royals (coached by Gail MacDougall, assisted by Mary Beth Chisholm, Lindsey Chisholm and Maggie MacDonald, and managed by Katherine MacDonald) also included Heather MacPherson, Kelly MacGillivray, Abby MacInnis, Shelby Burns, Carrie MacInnis, Jenny Bowie, Courtney Scott, Corrine Scott, Emily Marlow and Kalli MacDonald.
The 2nd-seeded Halifax Citadel Phoenix dumped the 7th-seeded Sydney Mines Memorial Composite Eagles 75-59. Mendeira Smith led the Phoenix with 17. Angelina Carvery added 15, Allie Smye 13 and Jalynn Skeir 10. Kyla MacRae led the Eagles with 9. Ashley Popovich added 8. The Eagles also included Breanna Buis, Hollie MacDonald, Emma Vickers.
In the last quarterfinal, the 6th-seeded Greenwich Horton Griffins stunned the 3rd-seeded Truro Cobequid Educational Centre Cougars 82-63. Candace Smith paced the Griffins with 30, including 19 in the second half. Sarah MacDonald added 21 and Emily McLellan 12. Horton led 18-11 after one quarter and 36-33 at the half. CEC led 48-43 after three quarters. The Cougars (coached by Paul Dennis, assisted by Ms. MacCallum and Mr. Clark) included Lauren Sinclair, Sara Densmore, Victoria Denis, Kallyn Morgan, Alicia McKinnon, Keisha Paris-Clyke, Kandace Hewlett, Heather Rushton, Brittany MacKay, Ryann McNamara, Julia Davis and Samantha Strickland.

In the other semi, the 2nd-seeded Halifax Citadel Phoenix stomped the 6th-seeded Greenwich Horton Griffins 75-54. Citadel led 18-7, 34-25 and 51-42 at the quarters. Angelina Carvery paced the Phoenix with 22. Jaylynn Skeir and Mendeira Smith each added 13. Sarah Macdonald led the Griffins with 25. Candace Smith added 15.

In the final, the 4th-seeded Bedford C.P. Allen Cheetahs defeated the 2nd-seeded Halifax Citadel Phoenix 50-45. Laura Langille paced the Cheetahs with 17. Elysia Drost added 14. Kara Hayes led the Phoenix with 15. Angelina Carvery added 12 and Jalynn Skeir 10. “We’ve shown when we play our best, we can beat anyone,” C.P. Allen coach Jamie MacDonald told the Halifax Chronicle-Herald. “But you never count Citadel out.” Laura Langille said that “in the championship game we were never down and when the going got tough we dug down deeper. We worked as a team and moved the ball well and everyone stepped up. It was a total team effort this weekend.” Added Laura Estabrooks, who scored 6: “as a team we knew we had it in us. Everyone else might have questioned us, but as a team we knew we could win and that’s why we won. We showed that girls’ basketball at our school is on the map and we never were before.”
