In the semis, the Mount Pearl O’Donel Patriots thumped the Labrador City Menihek Magic 65-34 as Concetta Giangrande scored 22 points. Donna Hicks responded with 9 for Menihek.
In the other semi, the St. John’s Gonzaga Vikings defeated St. Joseph’s Enright Memorial 52-45 as Karen Hearn scored 21 and Angela Byrd 19. Noreen Genge hit 17 for Enright.
In the final, Raeleen Dunne scored 27 and Concetta Giangrande 14 as the Mount Pearl O’Donel Patriots dumped the St. John’s Gonzaga Vikings 56-49. O’Donel took a 28-21 lead at the half and maintained the seven-point margin to the final buzzer. Angela Byrd scored 19 and Karen Hearn 16 for Gonzaga.
