In the other semi, the Gander St. Paul’s Intermediate Cardinals nipped the St. John’s Beaconsfield Saxons 71-70 in overtime.
In the final, the Placentia Laval Cavaliers rallied from a 24-21 halftime deficit to annihilate the Gander St. Paul’s Intermediate Cardinals 59-40 as Debbie Ryan scored 18 points. Kelly Dunn responded with 18 for the Cardinals.
