In the final, the Moncton Purple Knights defeated the Fredericton Black Kats 72-59. Second-seeded Moncton had lost two early season tournaments, then went got on a roll and won four straight games into the provincials. Carolyn Robinson scored 22 for Moncton. Karen Hardy added 19. Carolyn Gammon led Fredericton with 19.
