In the quarterfinals, held in St. Stephen and Milltown, the 5th-seeded Moncton Purple Knights clocked the 4th-seeded St. Andrews James M. Hill Tommies 64-49 as McGaghey scored 23, Teed 15, Parker 10, O’Keefe 9, Hicks 4 and Gay 3. Sandra Shaw led the Tommies with 21. Connick added 11, MacDonald 6, Beth Kane 6 and Bowes 5, while Veilleux was scoreless.

       In the other quarterfinal, the 3rd-seeded St. Stephen Spartans clubbed the 6th-seeded Saint John Simonds Seabees 69-52 as Mitton scored 17, Prosser 12, Campbell 12, S Madsen 10, N Madsen 8, MacWilliams 6 and Smith 4. Monica Hitchcock paced the Seabees with 21. Louise Collings added 11, Kenny 8, M Collings 6, Stewart 5 and McLenaghan 1, while Breen was scoreless.

       In the semis, the top-seeded Moncton Harrison Trimble Trojans dusted the 5th-seeded Moncton Purple Knights 72-29 as Killam scored 26, Yack 14, Sheppard 8, Allen 6, Stymiest 4, Lund 4, Ryder 4 and Rothwell 2. The Trojans led 47-17 at the half. McGaghey led the Purple Knights with 9. Teed added 8, Hicks 4, Parker 3, O’Keefe 3 and Thompson 2.

       In the other semi, the 2nd-seeded Fredericton Black Kats dispatched the 3rd-seeded St. Stephen Spartans 62-48 as Gammon scored 21, Cull 12, Scholten 11, McLean 10 and Scott 6. Campbell led the Spartans with 21. Mitton added 18, MacWilliams 4, Prosser 2, Smith 2 and Downey 1.

In the bronze medal match, the 3rd-seeded St. Stephen Spartans mauled the 5th-seeded Moncton Purple Knights 77-26 as Mitton scored 26, Campbell 26, Downey 9, Prosser 6, MacWilliams 6 and Smith 4. Gigi Hicks (Hickes?) led the Purple Knights with 12. Brenda Teed added 8, Kathy McGaghey 8, O’Keefe 4, Gay 4, Martin 4 and Thompson 2. The Purple Knights also included Debbie Parker.

In the final, the 2nd-seeded Fredericton Black Kats thumped the top-seeded Moncton Harrison Trimble Trojans 53-35 as Gammon scored 20, Scott 11, Cull 6, Watson 4, Michaud 4, Scholten 4, Smith 2 and Maclean 2. The Black Kats led 19-18 at the half and dominated the third quarter by a 20-1 count. Fredericton finished (18-5) on the season. Killam led the Trojans with 12. Sheppard added 10, Lund 7, Surrette 4 and Yack 2.
