Lynn Mean paced the Phantoms with 10. Dianne Lutes added 5, Isabel Kent 4, Heather Mennie (Nennie?) 3, Doucet 3, Jill Lewis 2, Parrott 2 and Lebans 2, while Maureen Cook was scoreless.

       The Saint John St. Vincent’s Fighting Irish spanked the Sunny Corner North & South Esk Cobras 79-26 as Skidd scored 16, Fleiger 20, Reid 10, Perry 6, Bastarache 4, MacDonald 4, Horgan 4, Butler 2, Murphy 2 and Johnston 1. Marie Taylor led the Cobras with 17. Gwen Matchett added 3, June Esson 3, Foran 2 and Tozer 1.

       The Moncton Purple Knights dispatched the Perth-Andover Southern Victoria Vikettes 40-32 as S Anderson scored 12, MacDonald 11, Barron 8, Wallace 3, Logan 3, Mawhinney 2 and Det Macdonald 1. Murchison led the Vikettes with 11. Barbara Inman added 10, Dorothy Brigs 8, Sandra Skinner 7, Susan Stiles 3, Diane Briggs 2 and Joan Barclay 1, while Susan Fitzherbert, Cathy Scott, Carla McKellar, Maureen O’Neill, Beverly Murchison and Avis Clark were scoreless.

       In the last quarterfinal, the Fredericton Black Kats dusted the Riverview Royals 45-28 as Fenety scored 20, MacIntosh 18, Scholten 3, Wright 2 and Watts 2. Chris Crawford led the Royals with 10. Heather Ratcliffe added 8, Becky Dobson 4, Ruth Mix 3, Janet Proude 2 and Debbie Dobson 1, while Beth Trueman, Marg Marriner, Leslie Gonyea, Barb Birkett and Jean Ann Blair were scoreless.

       In the semis, the Saint John St. Vincent’s Fighting Irish whipped the Moncton Purple Knights 53-34 as Fleiger scored 14, Skidd 13, Reid 10, D MacDonald 2, Bastarache 2, Hogan 4 and LeFleur 4. Ford led the Purple Knights with 8. S MacDonald added 6, Wallace 5, D MacDonalf 4, Armstrong 2, Arseneau 2, Barron 2, Wishart 2 and Mawhinney 2.

       In the other semi, the St. Stephen Spartans clubbed the Fredericton Black Kats 60-42 as B Johnston scored 33, R Johnston 16, Kirk 3, Francis 2, Brown 2, Meehan 2, Walker 1 and Flewelling 1. Fenety led the Black Kats with 15. Watts added 11, Ritchie 6, McIntosh 5, Scholten 3 and Wright 2.

       In the bronze medal match, the Moncton Purple Knights defeated the Fredericton Black Kats 47-43 as Ford scored 15 and Det MacDonald 10. Paula Scholten led the Black Kats with 14. The Black Kats also included Ann Fenety, Nancy MacIntosh, Joan Wright, Marilyn Watts, Linda Ritchie, Pat Rowan, Sharon Kennedy, Peggy Flannigan, Sandra Rolston and Beth Thomas.

In the final, the St. Stephen Spartans thrashed Saint John St. Vincent’s 61-37 as Beth Johnston scored 23, Kirk 12 and Diane Walker 12. Fleiger led the Fighting Irish with 15. Skidd added 12.
