In the quarterfinals, held in Woodstock, the St. Stephen Spartans torched the Port Elgin Pirates 38-17 as Nealy scored 9, Johnson 9, Smythe 7, S Pomeroy 4, Kelly 4, Clark 3, Scullion 1 and Jarvis 1. Ruth Coates paced the Pirates with 6. Shirley Murray added 5, Pauley 4 and Irwin 2, while McGlashing, Goodwin, Boyce, S Wood, Briggs, V Wood, Becker and Carter were scoreless.

       The Moncton Purple Knights spanked the Woodstock Wildcats 30-18 as Colpitts scored 16, Oulton 8, Betts 5 and Harrison 1. Janet Cox led the Wildcats with 12. McElroy added 2, Norma Elliott 2 and Boyer 2, while D Cox, Wilson, Hawkes, Colwell, Sutherland, Feldman, Dobbelsteyn and Baker were scoreless.

       The Minto Memorial Tigers dispatched the Saint John Greyhounds 25-21 as Richardson scored 11, Fontaine 11 and Robichaud 3. Dede Smith led the Greyhounds with 8. Barnes added 6, Pat Barbour 5 and Whitehead 2, while Ann Ross, MacCollum, MacElmon, Trebble, Malcolm, Cobham, Joyce, Lunnin, Sears, Bradford and Henderson were scoreless.

       In the last quarterfinal, the Bathurst Phantoms clipped the Plaster Rock Tobique Valley Panthers 30-20 as Archibald scored 14, Hatheway 6, Bannerman 5 and Hornibrook 4. Crawford paced the Panthers with 10. Schofield added 8 and Marsten 2, while Robertson, G Graves, Ward, Burridge, Stickles, Campbell, Crawford, Davidson and M Graves were scoreless.

       In the semis, the Moncton Purple Knights defeated the St. Stephen Spartans 30-25 as Oulton scored 17, Colpitts 11 and Betts 2. Scullion led the Spartans with 8. Nealy added 5, Smythe 5, Johnston 4, Kelly 2 and Jarvis 1.

       In the other semi, the Minto Regional Tigers dispatched the Bathurst Phantoms 23-17 as Richardson scored 15, Jardine 4, Fontaine 3, Robichaud 1 and Sullivan 1. Hatheway led the Phantoms with 7. Archibald added 6 and Bannerman 4.

In the final, Jardine and Richardson each scored 9 to lead the Minto Memorial Tigers past the Moncton Purple Knights 23-19. Robichaud added 3 and Fontaine 2.  Colpitts led Moncton with 8. Oulton added 7, while four points were unallocated.

       The all-tournament team featured Betty Lou Oulton (Moncton); Blanche Richardson (Minto); Diane Smith (Saint John); Joan Nightingale (Minto) Dorothy Fournier (Bathurst); and Diane Matheson (Moncton).
