The Greyhounds led 8-6, 16-6 and 24-14 at the quarters. Veronica ‘Chippy’ Hanusiak led the Purple Knights with 9. Diane Johnston added 6, Myrna McKenzie 4 and Peggy Colpitts 1, while Bray, Shirley Bulmer, Beverly Brian, Sheila Humes, Betty Oulton, Elizabeth MacDonald, Joan Horsman and Anne Mckenzie were scoreless.
The Saint John Simonds Seabees dispatched Edmundston Conway Academy 30-18 as Keddy scored 16, Gillispie 7 and Russell 7. The Seabees led 10-1 after one quarter. The score was knotted at 14 at the half. The Seabees led 26-16 after three quarters. Yvonne Hebert paced Conway with 11. Yvette Hebert added 5 and Mills 2, while Yvette McArthur, D’Allaire, Bernie, Neveau, Thibodeau, LaChance, Tweedie, Albert and Bellanger were scoreless.
The Fredericton Black Kats defeated the Bathurst Phantoms 41-30 as Savage scored 19, Stairs 11 and Squires 11. Hatheway led the Phantoms with 10. Archibald added 8, Stever 8 and Bannerman 4, while Sallon, Fournier, Lateigne, MacKinnon, Taylor, Aubie, Hornibook and Armstrong were scoreless.
In the last quarterfinal, the Saint John Vocational Vultures spanked the Woodstock Wildcats 43-26 as Mason scored 23, Chaisonn 11 and Thomas 9. Kerrigan led the Wildcats with 10. Kearney added 9, Mooers 5 and Jewett 2, while Elliot, Sumers, Grattan, Boyer, Wort, Dobblesteyn and Clark were scoreless.
In the semis, the Saint John Greyhounds mauled the Saint John Simonds Seabees 51-34 as McMackin scored 27, Ross 15, Appleby 7 and Sullivan 2. Keddy led the Seabees with 19. Russell added 10 and Gillispie 5.
In the other semi, the Fredericton Black Kats nipped Saint John Vocational Vultures 41-40 as Stairs scored 18, Squires 14, Savage 7 and Wheeler 2. Mason led Vocational with 19. Chaisson added 12 and Thomas 11.
In the final, the Saint John Greyhounds defeated the Fredericton Black Kats 48-26 to capture their seventh consecutive title. McMackin led the Greyhounds with 15. Ross added 16 and Appleby 14. Stairs led the Black kats with 10. Savage added 9 and Squires 7.
