Eunice Eadie score 11 to lead Vocational (coach M Purdy, manager Ann Turnbull). Frances McCarthy added 11, Ruth Venoit 5, Griffiths 2 and Midge Vaughan 1, while Doreen Totten, Mary Webb, Eleanor Yeomans, Rhoda Garrett, Gladys Spears, Florence Griffith, Green, L McCarthy, Nodwell and Gloria Kearns were scoreless.
The Dalhousie Superior Condors dispatched the McAdam Warriors 40-29 as Thompson scored 31, Valdron 7 and Brown 2. Dorothy May led the Warriors (coach Peggy McAleenan, manager Marilyn Dewey) with 19. Anne McCully added 4, Jean Short 4 and Helen Blair 2, while Theresa McSheffrey, Margaret DeWitt, Doreen McGuire, Mary Ann Cosma, Frances McCully, Jean McDonald and Sylvia Bell wee scoreless.
The Saint John Greyhounds whipped the Plaster Rock Tobique Valley Panthers 50-17 as Bate scored 17, McLeese 15, Edgecombe 8, Skinner 6, Porter 2 and Neal 2. Marie Colburne scored 7 to pace the Panthers (coach Frances Graham). Lois Stewart added 5 and Mildred Green 5, while Rachael Cormier, Ruth Briggs, Joan Perry, Margaret McKellar, Bucci, Mary Miller, Ruby Miller, Dorothy Lewis and Gwen Harrison were scoreless. The Panthers also included Betty Robertson.
In the last quarterfinal, the St. Stephen Spartans defeated the Moncton Purple Knights 31-24 as McGarrrity scored 16, Russell 11 and Dougherty 4. Joyce Randall scored 16 to lead the Purple Knights (coach J.R. Tippett). Carol Creaghan added 8, while Jean McNutt, Frances McLean, Paula McKenzie, Janet Henderson, Joanne Fryers, Joan Reade, Phyllis Dobson, Dorothy Scott, Maria Maclellan and Betty Northrup were scoreless.
In the semis, Ruth McLeese scored 40 as the Saint John Greyhounds clubbed the St. Stephen Spartans 61-41. Bate added 14 and Edgecombe 7. McGarrity led the Spartans with 18. Dougherty added 16 and Russell 7.
In the other semi, the Fredericton Black Kats spanked the Dalhousie Superior Condors 48-34 as Powys scored 10, George 10, Forbes 9, Sharpe 8, Vey 6 and Bliss 5. Thompson led the Condors with 15. Valdron added 13 and Brown 6.
In the final, the Saint John Greyhounds defeated the Fredericton Black Kats 35-32 as McLeese scored 27, Bate 6 and Porter 2. Bliss led the Black Kats with 13. Powys added 8, George 5, Forbes 2, Vey 2 and Sharpe 2.
