Alberta Butler paced Mount Carmel with 12, N Lowe added 5 and Jeanne Soucey 3, while M Morrissey, M O’Leary, A Denning, K Guest, D Smyth, L Blacquier, H George and P Doherty were scoreless. Soucey hit a bucket to force the first overtime with the score knotted at 18. May gave the Warriors the lead but Butler forced the second overtime by hitting a bucket in the final minute of the first overtime.

In the final, the Saint John Greyhounds defeated the Fredericton Black Kats 38-21 as Fawcett scored 14, McLeese 12, Thomas 8 and Wheaton 4. Forbes led Fredericton with 10. Mooers added 7 and Webb 4. Although it marked the seventh consecutive year that Saint John had hosted the tournament, it was the first time that home-court advantage yielded a title.
