In the quarterfinals, held in Saint John, the Fredericton Black Kats defeated Saint John Vocational Vultures (now Saint John Harbour View) 26-19 as Kenney scored 12, Allan 12, and Neilson 2. Izzard led Vocational with 10. Hiatt added 6 and Deakin 3, while Ackerson (Atkinson?), Springer, Kierstead, Scully, D Evans, Loughery were scoreless. Vocational also included McCoughan, Stone.
In the other quarterfinal, the Moncton Purple Knights nipped the Saint John Greyhounds 20-19 as Colpitts scored 7, Mitton 4, Dunphy 4 and Spencer 4. Mabel Taylor led the Greyhounds with 14. The Greyhounds also included Betty Evans (injured ankle in first half), Connie Hatfield, J Brown, E Oland, N Duncan, S Brown, E Butler, A Gold and Connie Evans.
In the semis, the Fredericton Black Kats clipped the Moncton Purple Knights 28-13 as Neilson scored 10, Kenney 8, Allan 8 and McLaggan 2. Colpitts led the Purple Knights with 6. Dunphy added 3, Mitton 2 and Gould 2.
In the other semi, the St. Stephen Spartans spanked the Sussex Sonics 32-16 as McIntee scored 20 and Dunham 12. Wallace led the Sonics with 7. Ramond added 7 and McIntyre 2.
In the final, the Fredericton Black Kats defeated the St. Stephen Spartans 25-22 as Allan scored 14, Neilson 8 and Kenney 3. The Black Kats led 15-7 at the half. McIntee led the Spartans with 11. Either Dunham or Dinsmore added 7 (both are listed as scoring 7), and Boles 3.
