The Moncton Purple Knights (2nd, Southwest) stomped the Saint John Simonds Seabees (3rd, Southwest) 97-77. In the last quarterfinal, the Fredericton Black Kats (1st, Southwest) stomped the Moncton Harrison Trimble Trojans (4th, Southwest) 110-66. In the final, the Fredericton Black Kats dispatched the Moncton Bernice MacNaughton Highlands 71-56 after leading 23-8, 45-19 and 59-30 at the quarters. Norm Burry was chosen player of the game for the Black Kats, while David O’Brien earned the laurels for the Highlanders.
