In the quarterfinals, the Fredericton Black Kats tripped the Moncton Purple Knights 92-49. The Purple Knights included Dennis Hopper.

The Moncton Harrison Trimble Trojans defeated the Quispamsis Kennebecasis Valley Crusaders 76-70 as Black scored 25, Boulay 21 and Lutes 13. Colin Flynn-Breen led the Crusaders with 28. The Crusaders also included Adam Belyea, Josh Graham, Nick Steeves.

The Sussex Sonics defeated the Moncton Bernice MacNaughton Highlanders 66-59 as McAleenan scored 29 and A Johnson 20. Nick Kamensky led the Highlanders with 15. Jeff Sadler added 11 and Jeff Wagner 11. The Highlanders also included Colin Matheson, Matt Robertson.

In the last quarterfinal, the Riverview Royals defeated the Saint John Harbour View Vikings 88-83 as Sullivan scored 43, Cole 14 and Macleod 11. Mike Anderson led the Vikings with 48. Ryan Woodman added 10. The Vikings also included Mike Beckett, Sam McKay, Calvin Power.

In the semis, the Fredericton Black Kats defeated Moncton Harrison Trimble Trojans 69-57 as Elliott Thompson scored 19, Andy Wright 15 and Pete Goggin 10. Scott Black led the Trojans with 20. Sean Boulay added 17 and Mike Lutes 14. The Black Kats led 32-25 at the half.

In the other semi, the Sussex Sonics tripped the Riverview Royals 61-53 as Tim McAleenan scored 32, Aaron Johnson 15 and Jay Johnson 12. Andrew Sullivan led the Royals with 25. Justin Allaby added 11.

       In the final, the Fredericton Black Kats whipped the Sussex Sonics 85-63 as Elliot Thompson scored 18 and player of the game Andrew Wright 15, along with 10 boards, Pat McAllister 14, along with 17 boards, Ryan MacPherson 12, Dave Skellen 11 and Steve Atyeo 7. Tim McAleenan led the Sonics with 25. Jay Johnson added 20. Black Kat Dave Skillen told the Moncton Times & Transcript that “we came out and we wanted to dominate them, and that’s what we did.” The Black Kats finished 49-1 on the campaign, winning 47 in a row. “That’s a remarkable achievement,” Black Kats coach Phil Wright told the Fredericton Daily Gleaner. “Not too many teams, at whatever level you’re playing at, achieve that.”
