In the quarterfinals (each hosted by the higher seed), the top-seeded Fredericton Black Kats stomped the 8th-seeded Bathurst Phantoms 110-34 as Colpitts scored 23, Mulder 23, Adams 21, Reid 19, Murphy 9, Drost 8, Van Wart 3, Budovitch 2 and Hanley 2. Jim Golder led the Phantoms with 14. Ted Branch added 8, Darren Sturgeon 4, Mike Thibodeau 2, Gunter Forester 2, Carl Lebonneville 2 and Roger Leger 2.

       The 2nd-seeded Moncton Harrison Trimble Trojans crushed the 7th-seeded Miramichi James M. Hill Tommies 82-57 as Lirette scored 20, Matthews 17, McKielty 14, Campbell 12, Scott Steeves 11, Robichaud 4, D’Entremont 2 and Shane Stevens 2. Blaine Lynch led the Tommies with 16. David Walsh added 10, Mike Gallant 9, Brent Moorehouse 8, John Corlett 8 and Tony Loggie 6.

       The 6th-seeded Moncton Purple Knights edged the 3rd-seeded Oromocto Blues 63-59 as Yuste scored 17, Daigle 17, MacLeod 9, Taylor 8, Matthews 6 and Agnew 6. Peter Wood led the Blues with 23. Eric Grace added 12, Jamie Fraser 10, Matthew Myers 8, Danny McMorran 4 and Paul Mills 2.

       In the last quarterfinal, the 4th-seeded Quispamsis Kennebecasis Valley Crusaders defeated the 5th-seeded Saint John Milledgeville North Stars 61-56 as Saville scored 16, Rogers 14, Hebert 10, Klassen 9, Kneeland 7, Maddocks 3 and Arsenault 2. Otis Delaney led the Stars with 19. Jim Eskins added 11, Bill Ryer 8, Randy Loatman 8, Adrian Drummond 4, Drew Allan 4 and Louis Morton 2.

       In the semies, the top-seeded Fredericton Black Kats torched the 4th-seeded Quispamsis Kennebecasis Valley Crusaders 102-51 as Reid scored 22, Murphy 16, Mulder 15, Colpitts 14, Adams 10, Van Wart 10, Drost 9, Budovitch 2, McFarlane 2 and Hanley 2. Klassen led the Crusaders with 14. Saville added 9, Rogers 8, Kneeland 6, Messer 6, Monroe 4, Maddocks 4 and Hebert 2.

       In the other semi, the 2nd-seeded Moncton Harrison Trimble Trojans spanked the 6th-seeded Moncton Purple Knights 52-35 as Matthews scored 13, Campbell 8, Scott Steeves 6, Lemay 6, D’Entremont 6, Robichaud 5, Shane Steeves 4 and McKillop 4. Daigle led the Purple Knights with 11. McLeod added 10, Agnew 6, Matthews 5, Stokes 2 and Yuste 1.

In the final, the Fredericton Black Kats captured their fifth straight title by defeating the 2nd-seeded Moncton Harrison Trimble Trojans 65-42 as Colpitts scored 20, Read 16, Murphy 11, Mulder 7, Adams 6, Hanley 2, Drost 2 and Budovich 1. Black Kats coach Rick Cotter told the Saint John Telegraph-Journal that each tile is “a little different. Last year as a good team effort and this year was a good team effort.” Cotter told the Fredericton Daily Gleaner that “they block out their men really well.” The Black Kats were undefeated in provincial competition. McKielty led the Trojans with 12. Matthews added 7, Shane Steeves 6, Lirette 5, Campbell 4, D’Entremont 4, le May 2 and Scott Steeves 2.
