In the quarterfinals, held in Chatham, the top-seeded Fredericton Black Kats torched the 8th-seeded Moncton Purple Knights 89-4 as Hornibrook scored 16, Lakes 16, McGinn 14, Goobic 12, Morris 10, Colpitts 6, Adams 5, Mulder 4, Hanley 3 and Murphy 2. David Daigle paced the Purple Knights with 10. Carles Yuste added 9, Currie Matthews 6, Pat Taylor 4, Ken Brooks 4, Peter Ryan 3, Ken Johnson 2 and Brian (Ryan?) Agnew 2, while Carlos Wuspe and Scott Mcleod were scoreless.
The 2nd-seeded Miramichi James M. Hill Tommies clipped the 7th-seeded Oromocto Blues 87-77 as Fitzpatrick scored 28, Corlett 25, Martin 15, Lynch 8, Walsh 7 and Barrieau 4. Mike Ripley led the Blues with 30. Peter Wood added 22, Darren Evans 12, Paul Miller (mills?) 6, Bob shaw 5 and Eric Grace 2, while Mike Ward, Gord Hallihan and Stephen Leitch were scoreless.
The 4th-seeded Saint John Milledgeville North Stars spanked the 5th-seeded Bathurst Phantoms 75-54 as Delaney scored 19, Eskins 19, Ryer 11, Smith 10, Jackson 8, Savoy 4, Calrk 2 and MacDougall 2. Gerry Arsenault led the Phantoms with 18. John Rutledge added 12, Mike Lovegrove 8, Chris Fisher 5, ,Ted Branch 3 and Carl Labonneville 3, while Mike Thibodeau was scoreless.
In the last quarterfinal, the 3rd-seeded Quispamsis Kennebecasis Valley Crusaders stomped the 6th-seeded Moncton Harrison Trimble Trojans 79-41 as Hebert scored 17, Williamson 12, Galloway 10, Rogers 9, T Kneeland 8, Bainbridge 5, Andeson 4, McCartney 4, Maddock 3, Saville 3, Honeyman 2 and D Kneeland 1. Tony Matthews paced the Trojans with 11. In the other semi, the 2nd-seeded Miramichi James M. Hill Tommies dusted the 3rd-seeded Quispamsis Kennebecasis Valley Crusaders 80-46 as Corlette scored 22, Fitzpatrick 16, Martin 12, Lynch 12, Barrieau 8, Walsh 6 and Svarc 4. In the bronze medal match, the 4th-seeded Saint John Milledgevile North Stars dispatched the 3rd-seeded Quispamsis Kennebecasis Valley Crusaders 75-66 as Savoy scored 18, Delaney 13, Eskins 11, Royer 10, Drummond 7, Smith 6, Clark 6, Jackson 6 and MadDougall 2. Tim Kneeland led the Crusaders with 10. Amadee (Steven?) Hebert added 7, Dave Maddock 6, Steve Rogers 4, Keith Anderson 4 and Jeff Bainbridge 2. The Crusaders also included David Williamson, Stewart Galloway, Jeff McCartney, Rod Saville, Kelly Honeyman, Danny Kneeland.
In the final, the top-seeded Fredericton Black Kats roared back from a 10-point first half deficit to bury the 2nd-seeded Miramichi James M. Hill Tommies 81-56 as Lakes scored 23, Colpitts 22, Adams 12, Murphy 9, McGinn 8, Goobic 4 and Morris 2. The Black Kats hit 19-25 from the line. Corlett led the Tommies with 22. Fitzpatrick added 16, Barrieau 9, Martin 5, Lynch 2, Moorehouse 1 and Gallant 1. The Tommies led 40-30 at the half and his 12-25 from the line.
