        In the semis, the Saint John Greyhounds crushed the Miramichi James M. Hill Tommies 101-51. Brent Janes led the Greyhounds with 23 points. Tom Aves added 18, Karl Nowlan 17, Ken Scott 15, Les Graham 13 and Rob Ferris 10. Rob Corlette led the Tommies with 14. Kevin Kerr and Dave Plante each added 12. Saint John led 52-34 at the half. Saint John shot 19-27 from the line, while committing 13 fouls. James M. Hill shot 4-7 from the line while committing 22 fouls

        In the other semi, the Oromocto High Blues upset the Quispamsis Kennebecasis Valley Crusaders 66-52. Steve Horsman led the Blues with 17. Bob Shynot added 12, Paul Blackmore 11, John Horsman 10 and Ian MacDougall 10. Oromocto led 31-24 at the half. Chris Magee paced the Crusaders with 16 points. The Crusaders also included Greg Throne, Mike Armstrong and Bill Mayberry. Oromocto hit 6-19 from the line and committed 17 fouls. The Crusaders hit 4-8 from the line and committed 18 fouls.

        In the bronze medal match,

        In the final, the Saint John Greyhounds edged the Oromocto High Blues 68-66. The Greyhounds avenged two regular season defeats in capturing the crown. Saint John never trailed and led by as many as 11. The Greyhounds were ahead 39-31 at the half but the Blues trimmed it to 64-62 with three minutes to play. Rob Ferris led Saint John with 19. Tom Aves added 17 and Kenney Scott 12. Ian MacDougall led Oromocto with 22. Paul Blackmore added 18 and Steve Horsman 10. Saint John hit 8-12 from the line and committed 15 fouls. Oromocto hit 2-9 from the line and committed 14 fouls.
