Cox led the Greyhounds with 12. Fox added 11, Brian Putnam 10, Mcleod 8, Colin Ferguson 8, Slader 4 and Colley 1, while Davidson, Crilley, McGinnis, Aves and Nowlan were scoreless.
The 5th-seeded Saint John Simonds Seabees defeated the 4th-seeded Saint John Vocational Vultures 82-72 as Beyea scored 28, Stewart 18, Skinner 16, Carson 16 and Murphy 4. Derreck Dixon led the Vultures with 26. Brian Morrison added 20, Mark Richards 10, Jack 8, Adams 6 and Reid 2, while Gordon and Madore were scoreless.
The top-seeded Fredericton Black Kats crushed the 8th-seeded Miramichi Valley Pulamoo 113-38 as Florean scored 24, McCormick 18, Gourley 17, Dobbelsteyn 16, Cunnane 13, Blauveldt 11, Grimmer 9, Dean 8, Grant 6 and El-Khoury 2. Charles Matchett led the Pulamoo with 12. Lingley added 8, MacDonnell 7, Holder 7, Trembley 2 and Mitchell 2, while Dunnett was scoreless.
In the last quarterfinal, the 3rd-seeded Moncton Purple Knights whipped the 6th-seeded Quispamsis Kennebecasis Valley Crusaders 81-56 as Shea scored 21, Sullivan 15, Simmons 11, Lebans 11, Logan 6, Wayne Arsenault 6, Toogood 6, Williams 2, McNeil 2 and Mollins 2. Pierce led the Crusaders with 13. Brian Hillesland added 12, Scoville 11, Armstrong 10, Bill Mayberry 4, Lutes 2, Maguire 2 and Magee 2.
In the semis, the top-seeded Fredericton Black Kats torched the 5th-seeded Saint John Simonds Seabees 75-48 as Dobbelsteyn scored 19, Gourley 18, Florean 18, El-Khoury 10, Grimmer 5, Blauveldt 2, Dean 2, McCormack 2, Grant 2 and Commane 2. Beyea led the Seabees with 19. Stewart added 13, Skinner 4, Carson 4, Murphy 4 and Crowell 2.
In the other semi, the 3rd-seeded Moncton Purple Knights clocked the 7th-seeded Moncton Harrison Trimble Trojans 58-42 as Shea scored 14, Arsenault 13, Sullivan 12, Williams 8, Lebans 6, Simmons 4 and Toogood 1. In the bronze medal match, the 5th-seeded Saint John Simonds Seabees clipped the 7th-seeded Moncton Harrison Trimble Trojans 79-67 as Stewart scored 28, Beyea 15, Cormier 11. Carson 10, Skinner 6, Croweel 5 and Murphy 5. Bruce Campbell led the Trojans with 31. Phil Yack added 16, Jim Blackmore 7, G Campbell 6, Pellerin 4, Wortman 2 and McNally 1. The Trojans also included Steve Sewell.
In the final, the top-seeded Fredericton Black Cats win sixth straight title by smacking the 3rd-seeded Moncton Purple Knights 65-53. Gourley paced the Black Kats with 23. Florean added 15, Dobbelsteyn 8, McCormick 8, El-Khoury 5, Cunnane 2 and Grimmer 1. The Black Kats finished (24-6) on the season. V Shea led Moncton with 17. Arsenault added 13, Lebans 7, Simmonds 6, Williams 4 and Toogood 2.
