The 3rd-seeded Rothesay Regional Red Hawks dispatched the 6th-seeded Moncton Purple Knights 45-38 as Brown scored 22, Estey 18, Lockett 12, Budreski 7, Brewster 7, Wilson 2 and Brittan 1. John Legans led the Purple Knights with 14. John Trainor added 12, Dave Wickwire 7, Bob Ward 7, Les Mclaren 6 and Robert Cormier 4, while Keith Thompson and K Thompson were scoreless.
The 2nd-seeded Fredericton Black Kats mauled the 7th-seeded Campbellton Cougars 64-30 as Sommerville scored 17, Doran 15, Robertson 7, Gould 6, Anderson 4, Pike 3, B Slipp 2, Kilburn 2, Banks 2, Cassidy 2, Hachey 2 and D Slipp 2. In the last quarterfinal, the 4th-seeded Moncton Harrison Trimble Trojans spanked the 5th-seeded Plaster Rock Tobique Valley Panthers 52-37 as Arsenault scored 16, Atkins 12, Crossman 11, Mitton 7 and Long 6.
