In the final, the St. John St. Vincent’s Fighting Irish defeated the Fredericton Black Kats 22-16 as Gaynes scored 14, Williams 6 and Hazel 2. Jack Grant paced Fredericton with 8. Glass added 5 and Manzer 3. The Fighting Irish shocked everyone with four straight tourney wins, despite finishing low in the regular season standings in St. John league, winning just one game.
