In the quarterfinals, the Hartland Huskies stomped the Hillsborough Caledonia Regional Tigers 99-35. The Tigers included Alina Russell.

        The Rothesay Netherwood Riverhawks defeated the Minto Memorial Tigers 61-53. The Tigers included Ashley Jordan.

        The Grand Manan Breakers crushed the Boiestown Upper Miramichi Boas 66-28 as Katelyn Foster scored 17 and Olivia Charters 15. Jenna Robichaud led the Boas with 9. The Boas included also Robyn Clowater, Shelby Carroll.

        In the last quarterfinal, the Harvey Lakers whipped the Stanley Blue Devils 82-51 as Katie Rowe scored 20, Angela Roy 18 and Christy Porter 12. Kristin McGeehan led the Blue Devils with 19. Jackie Green added 13.

In the semis, the Hartland Huskies defeated the Rothesay Netherwood Riverhawks 53-46.

In the other semi, the Grand Manan Breakers stunned the Harvey Lakers 66-52 as Emma Russell scored 20, Olivia Charters 15 and Katelyn Foster 13. Katie Rowe led the Lakers with 13. Angela Roy added 10 and Amy Nason 10.

In the final, the Hartland Huskies defeated the Grand Manan Breakers 48-45. Kate Myers scored 15 for the Huskies, including 11 in the first half. Emma Russell led Breakers with 18 points and 10 boards. “It’s awesome,” Hartland’s Kerri Trecartin told the New Brunswick Telegraph-Journal. “It was hard enough to believe we got here last year, but two years in a row is amazing.” After shaking out their jitters, the Breakers and Huskies settled in and kept it close. The Huskies defended their way to a 14-7 lead and flirted with eventually hit the double-digit cushion with two late baskets from Myers and Katie Craig. Trecartin hit two treys within five minutes to stretch the Huskies’ lead to 12. But full-court pressure allowed Grand Manan to pull within three points with three minutes left. They got no closer. “If we just could have pulled it together the whole game like we did the last five minutes, then we could have had it,” said Russell.
