In the regional semis and provincial quarterfinals held in Hartland, the Canterbury Celtics edged the Boiestown Upper Miramichi Regional Boas 57-53 in overtime as Cloutier scored 18 and Crandlemere 12. Abby Astle led the Boas with 22. The Boas also included Julie Munn.

       In the other regional semi, the Hartland Huskies clocked the Stanley Blue Devils 102-32 as Kennedy scored 23, Smith 14, Betts 10 and Killam 10. Julie Harding led the Blue Devils with 7.

       In the regional final and provincial semis, the Hartland Huskies whipped the Canterbury Celtics 71-49 as Kennedy scored 23 and Smith 17. The Huskies led 40-18 at the half. Cloutier led the Celtics with 19.

       In the regional semis and provincial quarterfinals held in Petitcodiac, the host Petitcodiac Regional Panthers spanked the St. Andrews Sir James Dunn Algonquins 68-37 as Stiles scored 12 and Bannister 10. Sarah Eddy led the Algonquins with 9.

       In the other regional semi, the Harvey Lakers clubbed the Sunny Corner North & South Esk Cobras 72-38 as Brudaker scored 17. Cassie Bouchard led the Cobras with 17.

       In the regional final and provincial semis, the Petitcodiac Regional Panthers defeated the Harvey Lakers 5-143 as Delano scored 16 and Bannister 13. The Panthers led 26-21 at the half. Budaker led the Lakers with 10. McDade added 10.

In the the final, the Hartland Huskies torched the Petitcodiac Regional Panthers 68-46 as Kennedy scored 26, Shaw 13, Palmer 10, Horsman 8, Betts 7 and Smith 2. The Huskies led 29-24 at the half. Huskies coach Lawrence Kennedy told the Saint John Telegraph-Journal that daughter Beverly took command in the second half. “She’s a competitor and just didn’t give up. She had a big difference and turned the game around in the second half. She goes to the hoop well.” Kennedy told the Fredericton Daily Gleaner that “we decided we wanted it more than they did. We had a nice talk in the dressing room and decided we had to play some defence because we weren’t really playing it in the first half. Pollock led the Panthers with 11. Bannister added 20. Panthers coach Kent Howatt said “we started turning the ball over in the second half and that’s bad news against Hartland. That’s when Bev Kennedy decided she wanted to win the game for them … So she stepped up and did.”
