In the quarterfinals, the Fredericton Devon Park Christian Eagles thrashed Miramichi Ecole Carrefour Beausoleil 75-54 as Zach Paget scored 25 and Bradley Smith 18.

        The McAdam Warriors dumped the Belleisle Regional Bears 51-44 as Brandon Carmichael scored 19 and Brodie Coburn 15. WeLiam Sipekma led the Bears with 28.

        The Grand Manan Community Breakers whipped the Petitcodiac Regional Panthers 94-69.

        In the last quarterfinal, the Harvey Lakers clipped the Caledonia Regional Tigers 93-78.

        In the semis, the Harvey Lakers defeated the Grand Manan Breakers 75-68 after leading 37-29 at the half. Gabe Walton paced the Lakers with 28. Sam Drummond added 23. Zach Pothier led the Breakers with 26. Tanner McLaughlin added 15.

        In the other semi, the Fredericton Devon Park Christian Eagles dumped the McAdam Warriors 51-44 despite trailing 23-20 at the half. Matthew Harrington paced the Eagles with 20. Zach Paget added 11. Brandon Moffitt paced the Warriors with 9. Brodie Coburn added 8.

        In the final, the Harvey Lakers edged the Fredericton Devon Park Christian Eagles 69-64. The Eagles led 19-12, 35-24 and 49-48 at the quarters. The Lakers trailed 35-24 at the half but 14-year-old guard Noah Gillespie took command, nailing two treys to draw Harvey within 35-33. Sam Drummond then tied it for the Lakers. With 1:15 left in the third, Colby MacDonald put the Lakers up 48-46. But Aric Paul responded with a left-handed layup to beat the buzzer. Colten Anderson started the fourth quarter with a fast-break layup, making it 51-48 for the Eagles before Gillespie came up big again, firing another trey to knot the score at 51. The teams then traded the lead until Gabriel Walton hit a jumper to give the Lakers a 60-56 lead and Nick Kitchen nailed a trey to extend the martin to 63-56, with 3:13 remaining. Bradley Smith’s two clutch free throws drew the Eagles to within 5-63, with 26 seconds left on the clock. But Kitchen made two clutch free throws to give Lakers a 67-63 edge with seconds to play. “I just tried to focus. I’ve been there before so I wasn’t too nervous,” Kitchen told the New Brunswick Telegraph-Journal. Justin Bernard was chosen game MVP honours for the Lakers. A Matthew Harrington jumper gave the Eagles a 16-10 lead before Paul hit a trey to give Devon Park a 19-12 lead after one quarter. Jonathan Wilton notched a bucket to give Devon Park a 21-12 advantage. The Eagles held a comfortable double-digit lead well into the second until Bernard sank a long jumper to draw the Lakers to within 11, shifting the momentum to the Lakers. Harvey coach David MacMullin lauded his squad’s resilience. “We had an awful first half but we came back and we made the plays we needed to at the right time. It’s not easy to come to such a big venue and play in such a pressure-filled game. But they did it.” Harrington, who was chosen game MVP honours for the Eagles, said “it was their night. They played well and they deserved to win.” Bernard said “I’m speechless; the way we fought back. We played so well.
