It made us worker harder when he went out. … It’s the greatest feeling I’ve had in my life. It’s unbelievable. It means a lot not just to us but to everyone. Since 1982, when the program started everyone’s been working their butts off. This is not just a championship for us. It’s a championship for all the alumni.” Golden Knights coach Tony McLean said “we’ve been working hard up at our school for five, six, seven years to get to this point. There are so many people to be thanked, especially the alumni. We couldn’t lose tonight because we had 25 players to their five. There was just no way.” Hume led the Blue Devils with 24.
