In the quarterfinals, 3rd-seeded St. George Eastern Charlotte defeated the 6th-seeded Hartland Huskies 51-47 as Nixon scored 11, Sheehan 10, Gillespie 10, Taylor 9, Dugas 6 and Barry 5. Dan Coughlin led the Huskies with 14. Larry Dickinson added 9, Nevers 7, Ray Reid 4, Bob Shaw 4 and John Glendennin g3, while Stephen Knowles, Bill Dowie, McLeod and Greer were scoreless.
The top-seeded Petitcodiac Regional Panthers clipped the 8th-seeded Campobello Island Consolidated Vikings 55-42 as MacMackin scored 15, Rogert Keith 10, Matt Kaye 20 and Laurie Chown 7. Bill Jackson led the Vikings with 12. Peter Mabey added 8, Don Fletcher 8 and Clayton Lank 6, while Gord Matthews was scoreless.
The 2nd-seeded Centreville Regional Cougars clocked the 7th-seeded Salisbury Cougars 55-35 as Reid scored 16, Lawrence 12, Fisher 9, McGrath 8, Emery 6 and Hatheway 4. Peter Graham led the Cougars with 13. Ross Taylor added 9, Mike Taylor 6, Ross Geldart 4 and Richard Hoar 3, while Dave MacDonald was scoreless.
In the last quarterfinal, the Florenceville Falcons dispatched the Boiestown Upper Miramichi Regional Boas 45-32 as L McIntosh scored 16, McIsaac 9, Veysey 7, Neilson 7 and White 6. Larry Calhoun led the Boas with 8. Wade Davis added 8, Brian McCluskey 8, Stephen MacKay 6 and Fairley 2, while Clive O’Donnell was scoreless.
In the semis, the top-seeded Petitcodiac Regional Panthers defeated the Florenceville Falcons 38-32 as Chown scored 8, Bannister 8, MacMackin 8, Kaye 6 and Keith 6. L McIntosh led the Falcons with 14. McIsaac added 6, Veysey 4, Corey 4, Neilson 2 and R McIntosh 2.
In the other semi, the top-seeded Centreville Regional Cougars spanked St. George Eastern Charlotte 70-36 as Lawrence scored 19, Reid 19, McGrath 12, Emery 7, Hatheway 6, Fisher 4, Prosser 2 and Bartley 1. Nixon led Eastern Charlotte with 13. Sheehan added 6, H Gillespie 6, D Gillespie 4, Barry 3, Taylor 2 and Swan 2.
In the final, the 2nd-seeded Centreville Cougars dispatched the top-seeded Petitcodiac Regional Panthers 40-36 to capture a boys/girls double. Reid led the Cougars with 11. Hatheway added 11, Lawrence 11 and Emery 7.
