In the other quarterfinal, the Bristol Carleton North Stars blasted the St. George Fundy Middle and High School Mariners 84-56.
In the southwest semis, the Rothesay Netherwood Riverhawks stunned the Woodstock Wildcats 86-78.
In the other semi, the host St. Stephen Spartans clipped the Bristol Carleton North Stars 66-53.
In the bronze medal match, the Bristol Carleton North Star dispatched the Woodstock Warriors 62-56.
In the southwest final, the St. Stephen Spartans clocked the Rothesay Netherwood Riverhawks 76-58.
No northeast regional tournament was held.
In the provincial quarterfinals and sectional semis, held in St. Stephen, the Bristol Carleton North Stars (3rd, southwest) whipped the Tantramar Regional Titans (2nd, Northeast) 72-53. The Titans included Livia Gallant, Halee Trenholm.
In the other provincial quarterfinal, held in Salisbury, the Rothesay Netherwood Riverhawks (2nd, southwest) dispatched the Woodstock Wildcats (3rd, northeast) 58-50. The Wildcats included Marlee Oulton.
In the provincial semi, held in St. Stephen, the St. Stephen Spartans (1st, southwest) clipped the Bristol Carleton North Stars (3rd, southwest) 58-45.
In the other semi, held in Salisbury, the Rothesay Netherwood Riverhawks (2nd, southwest) torched the host Salisbury Regional Cougars (1st, northeast) 61-42.
In the provincial final, the St. Stephen Spartans defeated the Rothesay Netherwood Riverhawks 73-67. The Riverhawks led 18-6, 31-19 and 53-42 at the quarters. But the Spartans took command in the fourth by bombing from the perimeter. Beth Harris was chosen player of the game for the Spartans, while Natalia Colley earned the laurels for the Riverhawks. Beth Harris paced the Spartans with 28 on 10-18 from the floor, 7-14 from the arc, 1-2 from the line and 3 boards. Aislyn Burns added 23 on 8-26 from the floor, 3-11 from the arc, 4-5 from the line, 5 boards and 3 assists. Anna Somers notched 15 on 6-19 from the floor, 2-6 from the arc, 1-6 from the line, 6 boards and 3 assists. Anna Gaudette scored 3 on 1-12 from the floor and 11 boards. Ainsley Grant added 2 on 1-4 from the floor, 4 boards and 2 assists.
