In the quarterfinals, the Saint John Rothesay Regional Red Hawks whipped the Salisbury JMA Armstrong Cougars 82-24 as Jill Taylor scored 16. Lindsay Killam led the Cougars with 9. The Cougars also included Sara Geldart.

        The Woodstock Wildcats dumped Dalhousie Regional Condors 66-47 after leading 40-26 at the half. Heather Atherton paced the Thunder (Wildcats) with 20. Jessica Irvine added 11. Megan Lawlor paced the Condors with 13. Sea Lee Degroot added 9. The Condors also included Brittany Savoy, Amy Adams.

        The Bristol Carleton North Stars stomped the Petitcodiac Regional Panthers 81-23 after leading 53-10 at the half. Jillian Sipprell paced the North Stars with 16. Casey Gaunce added 10. Felica Craig led the Panthers with 11. Bridget Kay added 8.

In the last quarterfinal, the Sackville Tantramar Regional Titans whipped the Perth-Andover Southern Victoria Vikettes 78-44 by hitting eight treys. Leah Ward led the Titans with 25. Danielle Trenholm added 18, Kaylee Atkins 7, Jenny Robinson 7 and Skye Babineau 5. Kelsey Nissen led the Vikettes with 12. The Vikettes also included Zoe Kennedy, Thyra Shaw.

In the semis, the Sackville Tantramar Regional Titans defeated the 2nd-seeded Saint John Rothesay Regional Red Hawks 71-60. The game stayed close throughout the first three quarters with the Titans holding on to a slim lead. With eight minutes left in the game, the Red Hawks took over and pulled ahead by eight points. But the Titans did not fold, pouring it on both offensively and defensively. The Titans hit key shots, forced turnovers and controlled the boards, allowing them to retake the lead and pull out the win. Danielle Trenholm and Leah Ward each scored 19 to lead Tantramar. Brittany Jones added 12, Laura Sloan 9 and Jenny Robinson 8. Jill Taylor led the Red Hawks with 18.

        In the other semi, the Bristol Carleton North Stars stomped the Woodstock Wildcats 67-45 as Jillian Sipprell scored 18, Patricia Blackie 17 and Gillian Lockhart 10. Heather Atherton led the Wildcats with 19.

In the final, the Bristol Carleton North Stars defeated the Sackville Tantramar Regional Titans 54-48. For the Titan girls, it was a heartbreaking loss as they mounted two comeback bids with both the first and second halves. The Titans trailed 28-13 with eight minutes remaining in the first half and battled back to get it to 34-22 by the break. In the second half, they overcame a 15-point deficit to tie the Stars 45-45 with six minutes remaining. Laura Sloan got Tantramar within two 49-47 with 2:37 left, but the Titans then made just one of six free throws down the stretch and 12/28 overall. With just 43 seconds to play, Danielle Trenholm, chosen player of the game for the Titans, hit one to give her a team high of 17 points and cut the deficit to 51-48. The Stars then played keep away in the dying seconds to kill the clock and take the championship. Game MVP Jillian Sipprell scored 21 on 15 boards, 3 steals and 2 blocks, along with a free throw to give the Stars a 47-45 lead. The block led to a basket by fellow senior Patricia Blackie and a 49-45 lead with four minutes left. Bryanne Thomas swished both free throws with 43.2 seconds to play to restore the Stars’ four-point lead. Northeast player of the year Danielle Trenholm hit one to give her a team-high 17 points and cut the deficit to 51-48 with 37.6 seconds left. With the Stars trying to play keepaway in the dying seconds, Trenholm collided with Blackie as the ball bounded out of bounds with 11.1 seconds left. The officials ruled Trenholm had touched it last and the Stars were able to kill the clock. “Wow, this is great,” Sipprell told the New Brunswick Telegraph-Journal. “That’s the way I wanted to end my high school career.” The Stars shot 6-for-34 (17.6 per cent) in the second half. “I think we were kind of tired,” Sipprell said. “This floor is huge and, honestly, I don’t think we expected them to fight so hard to get back. But we pulled it out, so I’m not complaining.” Tantramar coach Mark Bohan said “I think it was nerves and just the atmosphere here that affected the girls. We had our opportunities to win it, but we missed some crucial foul shots at the end.” Leslie Boyd came off the bench to score seven points for the Stars while Blackie and Jillian Lamoreau added six apiece. Thomas helped out with five points and nine rebounds. Sipprell and the Stars took advantage of six-foot senior post Leah Ward twisting her right knee and missing the final five minutes of the first half. Ward got back in to contribute 10 points and 13 boards, but the Titans were out-rebounded 54-37.
