Clarissa Arnsenault led the Spartans with 6. Joanne Humphrey added 4, Laura Parker 4, Carrie Tponer 2, Elaine Williams 2 and Kristy Lenihan 2.
In the last quarterfinal, the 6th-seeded Fredericton ‘AA’ Black Kats nipped the 3rd-seeded Woodstock Wildcat 40-39 as Moore scored 10, Hachey 10, Goguen 4, Robinson 4, Baldwin 4, McCluskey 3, Jennings 2, Graham 2 and Ismail 1. Sara Hendry led the Wildcats with 6. Melanie Allen added 6, Bev Wilson 6, Sabra Culberson 6, Jaime Polchies 5, Samantha Hams 4, Jennifer Crouse 2 and Amanda Forrest 2.
In the semis, the top-seeded Lawrenceville-Bristol Carleton North Stars clipped the 4th-seeded Sackville Tantramar Titans 51-40 as Scott scored 20, Delong 13, Clark 4, Hawksley 4, Greer 4, Dickinson 2, Bell 2 and Martin 2. In the other semi, the 2nd-seeded St. George Fundy Mariners dusted the 6th-seeded Fredericton ‘AA’ Black Kats 63-31 as Hoyt scored 19, Norman 15, Baker 14, Johnson 8, Hatt 3 and Justason 2. Jennings led the Black Kats with 8. McCluskey added 7, Hachey 6, Ismail 2, Baldwin 2, Robinson 2, Moore 2 and Archibald 2.
In the final, the top-seeded Lawrenceville-Bristol Carleton North Stars defeated the 2nd-seeded St. George Fundy Mariners 55-48 as Delong scored 17, Bell 10, Scott 8, Green 6, Hawksley 6, Anderson 6 and Clark 2. The Stars led 34-31 at the half and closed out the contest with a 7-1 run. Delong told the Saint John Telegraph-Journal that “we hadn’t played them before so weren’t sure. We had to expect a tough game or else wouldn’t have done good at all.” Stars coach Darrell Turnbull said “I knew we would have our hands full. They did a fine job. Unfortunately, somebody has to lose here … I think we had a little more depth than they had and went to our bench. I think that wore Fundy down.” Baker led the Mariners with 12. Norman added 12, Johnson 10, Hoyt 5, Hoffman 5 and Justason 4.
