We weren’t expected to be here and I think it was a surprise for everybody, including myself. … (With 3 veterans and a bunch of rookies) … That made a big difference because they didn’t know what to expect coming to play high school ball. Most teams sort of peak at a certain time. Our peaking is now.” Black Kats coach Andre Champagne said “in the second half, we tightened up our defence. They started turning the ball over and we started converting all those turnovers into some points.” The Black Kats led 19-17 at the half and hit 9-20 from the line. Boudreau paced the Bruins with 12.
