Anna Cain led the AA Black Kats with 15. Jeannie Garagon added 7, Ann Peters 6, Laura Johnson 6, Andrea Miller 2 and Donna Gardiner 2, while Tracy Powell, Kim Corey and Donna Gardner were scoreless.
The 2nd-seeded Sussex Sonics trounced the 7th-seeded Campbellton Sugarloaf Bruins 67-40 as McGarrible scored 22, Rogers 8, Mcquinn 8, Webster 6, Dunlap 6, McDermott 4, Ruttan 2, Sharp 2, Webster 2, Seymour 2, Gallant 1 and Reicker 1. The Sonics led 32-10 at the half and hit 8-17 from the line. Colleen Kean (Keene?) led the Bruins with 15. Gisele Aucoine added 8, Mildred Metalic 7, Sue Roy 6 and Patti Doyle 4, while Josie Guidray was scoreless.
The 3rd-seeded St. Stephen Spartans torched the Lawrenceville-Birstol Carleton North Stars 62-39 as Williams scored 16, Cline 16, Orchard 11, Rice 8, Anderson 6, Doten 4 and Perkins 1. Donna Denny led the Stars with 14. In the last quarterfinal, the 4th-seeded Woodstock Warriors defeated the 5th-seeded Riverview Royalettes 67-62 as McBride scored 21, Briggs 10, Kilburn 12, Hawkes 6, Dickeson 5 and Clark 2. Patty Boyd led the Royalettes with 17. In the semis, the 2nd-seeded Sussex sonics clipped the 3rd-seeded St. Stephen Spartans 57-47 as Reicker scored 18, McGarrigle 14, Robinson 10, McQuiin 8, Rogers 4, Webster 2 and Dunlop 1. The Sonics led 2-19 at the half and 13-29 from the line. Williams led the Spartans with 14. Anderson added 10, Perkins 9, Cline 8, Orchard 4 and Rice 2. The Spartans hit 7-14 from the line.
In the other semi, the top-seeded Sackville Tantramar Titans crushed the 4th-seeded Woodstock Warriors 77-35 as George scored 18, Mcleod 12, Nichols 10, Tuff 9, Wood 8, Doncaster 8, Hofland 8 and Trenholm 4. In the bronze medal match, the 3rd-seeded St. Stephen Spartans defeated the 4th-seeded Woodstock Warriors 68-59 as Williams scored 23, Cline 16, Rice 9, Anderson 8, Doten 6, Wytchard 4 and Henderson 2. The Spartans led 41-32 at the half and hit 10-16 from the line. Wendy Dickeson (Dickinson?) led the Warriors with 22. In the final, the Sackville Tantramar Titans won their third straight title by burying the Sussex Sonics 81-43. Kim Doncaster led the Titans with 21. George added 14, McLeod 10, Nichols 10, Wood 9, Hofland 4, McGlashing 4, Milner 2 and Tuff 1. The win capped a girls/boys double for Tantramar. The Titans led 43-24 at the half and hit 12-31 from the line. McGarrigle led the Sonics with 16. McQuinn added 6, Webster 5, Reicker 5, Johnson 4 and Dunlap 3.
