Heather LeFurgey led the Bruins with 10. Barbara Hasegood added 4, Wendy Boudreau 3, Chrissie Taylor 2, Susan Holton 2, Colleen Kean 2 and Cindy Hanley 2.
The 2nd-seeded Sussex Sonics whipped the 7th-seeded Woodstock Wildcats 64-42 as McGarrible scored 25, Charters 20, McQuinn 11, Rogers 3, Reicker 3 and Dunlop 2. Laura Tapley led the Wildcats with 11. Lisa Briggs added 10, Natalie McBride 8, Wendy Dickinson 6, Lisa Hawkes 3, Kim Buckingham 2 and Kelly Milbury 2, while Kathy Tenhave was scoreless.
The 3rd-seeded St. Stephen Spartnas nipped the 6th-seeded Fredericton AA Black Kats 54-52 as Murchie scored 12, Quinn 10, Cline 10, Sweeney 10, McLellan 6, Williams 4 and Carr 2. Kelly Simmonds led the AA Black Kats with 18. Gail Costello added 14, Leanne Fitch 11, Silliphant 8 and Gardiner 1.
In the last quarterfinal, the 4th-seeded Lawrenceville-Bristol Carleton North Stars dispatched the 5th-seeded Riverview Royals 64-49 as Denny scored 15, Tompkins 10, Cain 10, McKinnon 6, Green 6, Henry 5, Martin 4, Allan 2 and Bliss 2. Margaret MacDonald led the Royals with 10. Myra Rigby added 9, Brenda Orr 9, B.J. Dainard 7, Patty Boyd 4, Jane McDougall 4, Janice Mills 4 and Barb Leaman 2.
In the semis, the 2nd-seeded Sussex Sonics nipped the 3rd-seeded St. Stephen Sparts 55 -53 as McQuinn scored three in the final 13 seconds. Charters led the Sonics with 20. McGarrigle added 12. The Sonics hit 9-17 from the line. Murchie led the Spartans with 18. Carr added 12 and Williams 10. The Spartans hit 5-17 from the line.
In the other semi the top-seeded Sackville Tantramar Titans dispatched the 4th-seeded Lawrenceville-Bristol Carleton North Stars 61-54 as McLeod scored 13, Nichols 11 and George 10. Denny led the Stars with 15. Green added 14 and Tompkins 10.
In the bronze medal match, the 3rd-seeded St. Stephen Spartans clipped the 4th-seeded Lawrenceville-Bristol Carleton North Stars 64-49 as Murchie scored 28, Carr 12, McLellan 9, Williams 6, Cline 5, Quinn 2 and Sweeney 2. Crystal Green led the Stars with 11. Cheryl Tompkins added 8, Cheryl Martin 8, Donna Deny 6, Sheena Taylor 5, Kelly Cain 3, Lori McKinnon 2, Sandra Allan 2, Diane Bliss 2 and Patti Brennan 2. The Stars also included Henry.
In the final, the top-seeded Sackville Tantramar Titans retained their title with a 53-50 win over the 2nd-seeded Sussex Sonics. Jennifer George led the Titans with 11. McLeod and Trenholm each added 10, Hofland 8, McGlashing 6, Nichols 4, Webb 3 and Acton 1. The Titans led 33-24 at the half and hit 10-23 from the line. McGarrigle led the Sonics with 14. McQuinn added 12, Charters 8, Rogers 7, Webster 3, Reicker 2, Dunlop and Johnson 2. The Sonics hit 12-27 from the line.
