In the quarterfinals, held in Bristol, the 6th-seeded Campbellton Sugarloaf Bruins spanked the 3rd-seed Riverview Royalettes 57-40 as Ahier scored 18 and nabbed 15 boards. Velt Chartress led the Royals with 20, while nabbing 16 boards. The Royalettes also included Sue Betts, Anne MacDougall.
The top-seeded Sackville Tantramar Titans blasted the 8th-seeded Grand Falls Polyvalente Thomas-Albert Les Elites 87-24 as Burns scored 13, while Cutting nabbed 16 boars. Ghyslaine Ouellete led Les Elites with 16.
The 2nd-seeded Woodstock Wildcats torched the Northwestern Junior All Stars 86-21 as Jarrett scored 14. Laura McKim led Northwestern with 12. The Junior All Stars also included Yvette Levesque.
In the last quarterfinal the 4th-seeded Lawrenceville-Bristol Carleton North Stars whipped the 5th-seeded St. Stephen Spartans 70-51 as Boyd scored 20. Dianne Watson led the Spartans with 12. Beth Murchie added 12 and Sandra Madsen 12.
In the semis, the top-seeded Sackville Tantramar titans defeated the Lawrenceville-Bristol Carleton North Stars 72-65 as Burns scored 21, Cutting 14 and Fisher 12. The Titans led 44-22 at the half. Boyd the Stars with 21.
In the other semi, the 2nd-seeded Woodstock Wildcats spanked the 6th-seeded Campbellton Sugarloaf Bruins 66-49 as Cluff scored 19, while nabbing 10 boards. Dymond added 13 and Jarrett 10. The Wildcats led 31-24 at the half and hit 12-21 from the line.
In the bronze medal match, the 4th-seeded Lawrenceville-Bristol Carleton North Stars defeated the 6th-seeded Campbellton Sugarloaf Bruins 68-60. The Bruins included Carol Anne Ahier, Collette Jean.
In the final, the 2nd-seeded Woodstock Wildcats knocked off the top-seeded Sackville Tantramar Titans 64-43 as Cluff scored 12 and grabbed 12 boards. Darla Dymond added 12 and Troy 10. The Wildcats led 26-19 at the half and hit 8-18 from the line. Burns led the Titans with 12. Dixon added 12.
