In the quarterfinals, the 6th-seeded Saint John St. Vincent’s Fighting Irish clipped the 3rd-seeded Riverview Royals 41-18 as Forbes scored 13, Gagnon 9, Sullivan 6, Arsenault 4, Davis 4, Whelan 2, Higgins 2 and Adams 1. Mary Ann Horton led the Royals with 11. Peggy Reid added 8, Karen Johnston 6, Sue Betts 2 and Janet Smith 1, while Penny, LeBlanc and McLaughlin were scoreless.

       The 5th-seeded Rothesay Regional Red Hawks dispatched the 4th-seeded Bathurst Phantoms 51-40 as R Barry scored 17, McCormick 12, MacDonald 5, M Barry 4, Muise 4, J Barry 3, P Barry 2, Myles and Fleiger 2. Debbie Perron led the Phantoms with 10. Maher added 8, J Grebenc 6, Fellos 5, Arsenault 4, Delicaet 4 and Kathy Grebenc 3.

       The top-seeded Woodstock Wildcats whipped the 8th-seeded Sackville Tantramar Titans 68-22 as Sanders scored 10, R McBride 10, Nichol 8, J McBride 7, Culberson 7, McKellar 6, K McBride 6, Currie 5, Bustard 4, Mollins 3 and Gartley 2. J Johnson led the Titans with 6. S Johnson added 5, Motyer 4, LeBlanc 3, Henry 2 and Burns 2.

       In the last quarterfinal, the 2nd-seeded Saint John Greyhounds clocked the 7th-seeded Dalhousie Condors 52-30 as Colwell scored 14, C Maxwell 12, Dickens 12, Ferguson 6, James 5, Dykeman 2 and Tivendale 1. Doucet led the Condors with 11. MacNeil added 10, Diane McLean 4, Chiasson 3 and Bujold 2.

In the semis, 6th-seeded Saint John St. Vincent’s Fighting Irish clipped the 2nd-seeded Saint John Greyhounds 45-32 as Davis scored 14, Gagnon 10, Arsenault 8, Forbes 8, Sullivan 3 and Higgins 2. C Maxwell led the Greyhounds with 14. Dickens added 7, L Maxwell 3, James 3, Colwell 3 and Ferguson 2.

In the other semi, the top-seeded Woodstock Wildcats spanked the 5th-seeded Rothesay Regional Red Hawks 57-37 as Sanders scored 19, Colberson 17, McKellar 5, J McBride 4, Bustard 4, Nichol 4, Mollins 2 and R McBride 2. R Barry led the Red Hawks with 14. Muise added 6, MacDonald 6, McCormick 5, Leonard 2, J Barry 2, P Barry 1 and Flewelling 1.

       In the bronze medal match, the 2nd-seeded Saint John Greyhounds defeated the 5th-seeded Rothesay Regional Red Hawks 43-37 as Tivendale scored 14, C Maxwell 13, L Maxwell 6, James 4, Colwell 3 and D Dickens 2. Karen Muise led the Red Hawks with 13. Lorraine McCormick added 8, J Barry 8, Rosalie Barry 7 and M MacDonald 1. The Red Hawks also included M Barry, P Barry, Myles, Fleiger, Leonard and Flewelling.

       In the final, the Woodstock Wildcats defeated Saint John St. Vincent’s 31-28 to capture their third crown in four years. Evelyn Culberson paced the Wildcats with 11. Sanders added 10, J McBride 4, McKellar 2, Molins 2 and Nichol 1. Nichol dislocated her shoulder in the first minute of play after scoring the opening layup. Woodstock finished (18-10) on the season. The score was knotted at 16 at the half. Forbes led the Fighting Irish with 16. Davis 8, Sullivan 2 and Gagnon 2.
