In the quarterfinals, held in McAdam, the Centreville Regional Cougars defeated Grand Manan Breakers 40-36 as Bell scored 20, White 6, Young 6, DeMerchant 2 and Brown 1. Gloria Bagley led the Breakers with 13. Cook added 11, Brown 11, Daggett 1, while Flagg, M Russell, W Russell, Dalzeil, Small and Harvey were scoreless.
The Florenceville Falcons dispatched the Stanley Regional Blue Devils 23-15 as Lyon scored 13, McCain 7, M McIsaac 2 and D. McIsaac 1. Ann Foreman scored 9 to pace the Blue Devils (coach Keith Gorman). Sandra Clarkson added 4 and Linda Sowers 2, while Beverly Weatherbee, Brenda Dorcas, Barb MacFarlane, Ida Dorcas, Nancy Hepburn, Mary MacFarlane, Margaret Maclean and Debbie Flynn were scoreless.
The McAdam Warriors clipped the Hampton Consolidated Huskies 32-17 as Pattullo scored 12, Piercy 10 and Carroll 10. Ann Mcleod led the Huskies with 5. Richie added 4, Callaghan 4, Butler 2 and M McLeod 2, while Carter, Chambers, Quann and Sterne were scoreless.
In the last quarterfinal, the Port Elgin Pirates edged the Boiestown Upper Miramichi Regional Boas 34-32 as Fury scored 18, Brander 7, Tingley 5 and Allen 4. Hunter led the Boas with 15. Juanita Norrad added 5, E Scott 4, McKay 4, J Scott 2 and Fowler 2, while Joyce Norrad, Cleveland, Calhoun and Carr were scoreless.
In the semis, the McAdam Warriors nipped the Florenceville Falcons 24-22 as Piercy scored 14, Pattulo 6, S Moffit 3 and C Moffit 1. M McIsaac led the Falcons with 9. Lyon added 6, McCain 4, D McIsaac 1, Clark 1 and Belyea 1.
In the other semi, the Centreville Regional Cougars stomped the Port Elgin Pirates 47-29 as Bell scored 21, White 7, Young 4, DeMerchant 4, Drake 4, Peterson 4 and Cain 2. Fury led the Pirates with 12. Brander added 10, McLeod 5 and Copp 2.

In the final, the Centreville Cougars, led by Nelda Bell, defeated the McAdam Warriors 33-19. It marked the first girls/boys double at the M level.
