In the quarterfinals, held in Moncton, the McAdam Warriors whipped the Sunny Corner North & South Esk Cobras 43-21 as Chessie scored 27, Osgoode 8, Carrol 6 and Thomas 2.

       The Bath Regional Fighting Bees edged the Rothesay Regional Red Hawks 33-31 as Shannon scored 24, Hargrove 5 and McInnis 4. Allison led the Red Hawks with 16. Eileen Fowler added 9 and Madison 6, while Cheryl Stagmire, Green, M Fowler, Cheryl Olive, Fullerton, Bolby (Walpy? Valpy?), Chrystal Olive, Steele, Hills (Mills?) and Dobson were scoreless.

       The Florenceville Falcons dusted the Grand Manan Breakers 41-21 as Bruce scored 23, C McIssac 13, Dunham 13, M McIsaac 2 and P McCain 1. Bonnie Daggett led the Breakers with 8. W Cook added 7, Fleet 4 and Brown 2, while B Cook, Russell, Stanley, Daniel, Green, Parker, Linton and Flagg were scoreless.

       In the last quarterfinal, the Port Elgin Pirates crushed the Boiestown Upper Miramichi Regional Boas 65-35 as Tingley scored 36, S Payne 18, Jones 8, Johnson 2 and Allen 1. Linda Norrad led the Boas with 29. J O’Donnell added 4 and D (B?) Scott 2, while W Norrad, McKay, E Scott, Price, M O’Donnell, W Hunter, J Scott, Astle (Astol?), B Hunter and Harris were scoreless.

       In the semis, the McAdam Warriors nipped the Bath Regional Fighting Bees 40-37 as Chessie scored 25, Osgood 12 and Carroll 3. Shannon led the Fighting Bees with 26. Hargrove added 9 and McInnis 2.

       In the other semi, the Florenceville Falcons edged the Port Elgin Pirates 51-49 as Bruce scored 16, C McIsaac 13, M McIsaac 11 and Dunham 11. Payne led the Pirates with 25. D Tingley added 19, Jones 3 and Fury 2.

       In the bronze medal match, the Port Elgin Pirates clocked the Bath Regional Fighting Bees 58-36 as Tingley scored 25, Payne 21 and Jones 12. Connie Shannon led the Fighting Bees with 20. Nola McInnis added 8 and Hargrove 8, while McGuigan, Denny, DeMerchant, Millie, Higgins, Nugent, Giberson and Doherty were scoreless.

In the final, the McAdam Warriors won their first title since 1952 by defeating the Florenceville Falcons 42-39 as Patsy Chessie scored 32 and Thomas 7. The score was knotted at 18 at the half. Dunham led the Falcones with 12. Bruce added 10 and C McIsaac 10.
