In the quarterfinals, held in Dalhousie, the host Dalhousie Condors clipped the Plaster Rock Tobique Valley Panthers 32-18 as P Peterson scored 13, Fournier 6, C Petersen 5, Walker 4, Thorburn 3 and Duncan 2. Glenda Crawford led the Panthers with 6. Phyllis Borridge added 6, Gerry Graye 4, Myra Robertson 1 and Connie Stickles 1, while Minerva Graye, Valerie Rollins, Patsy Michaud, Linda Ward, Lois Crawford, Doreen Tompkins and Faye Campbell were scoreless.

       The Bathurst Phantoms defeated St. Andrews 35-29 as Armstrong scored 12, Archibald 12 and Hornibrook 2. Hartt led St. Andrews with 13. Graham added 132, Thomas 2, and MacNichol 2, while R Fountain, Wiley, McCarty, Duncan, M Fountain, Watson, McCullough and Connley were scoreless.

       The Boiestown Upper Miramichi Boas clubbed the Rothesay Regional Red Hawks 40-15 as Scott scored 12, Pratt 1, Black 6, O’Donnell 5, Conroy 3 and Black 2. Blair paced the Red Hawks with 7. Scott added 6 and Gilliland 2, while Hamilton, Andrews, Mullett, Belyea, Koval, Saunders and McCarthy were scoreless.

       The Canterbury Celtics dispatched the Salisbury Regional Sabres 32-24 as P Donovan scored 18, R Donovan 11 and Hillman 3. Lorna Miller led the Sabres (coach Norman Nickerson) with 17. Kathleen Sullivan added 4, Beatrice Lutes 2 and Fae Geldart 1, while Bernice Cochrane, Alice McHale, Madge Lewis, Marian Johnston, Patricia Power, Barbara Burlock, Gloria Colpitts and Doreen Eagles were scoreless.

In the semi, the Dalhousie Condors nipped the Bathurst Phantoms 40-39 as Pamela Peterson notched the winner with 7 seconds to play. Fournier paced the Condors with 20. Walker added 10, C Petersen 7 and P Petersen 3. Armstrong led the Phantoms with 32. Archibald added 4 and Cole 3.

In the other semi, the Boiestown Upper Miramichi Boas clocked the Canterbury Celtics 45-20 as Pratt scored 21, Scott 12, Conroy 10 and Black 2. P Donovan led the Trojans with 12. R Donovan added 7 and Hillman 1.

       In the final, the Dalhousie Condors defeated Boiestown Upper Miramichi Regional Boas 23-19 as Walker scored 15, P Petersen 6, Fournier 1 and Thorburn 1. Conroy led the Boas with 19. Scott added 8 and Pratt 1.
