        In the final, the Bristol Carleton North Stars nipped the Woodstock Thunder 55-53. The Thunder led 14-11 after one quarter. The Stars led 29-25 at the half. The score was knotted at 33 after three quarters. “Every time I thought we were up, they kept on coming back,” North Stars coach Ben Blackie told the New Brunswick Telegraph-Journal. “Woodstock, we knew, would never quit and they sure showed that. They played right until the last second.” The Thunder took an early 9-point lead on back-to-back treys from Craig Atherton and Kyle Carr but the North Stars rallied as Hunter Oakes and Drew Kinney drained treys to give them a 25-19 lead. But Nathaniel Burlock drained a trey to trim the margin to six at the half. Keegan Gray hit two treys as the North Stars appeared to take command early in the third quarter but the Thunder rallied to knot the score at 37. Woodstock’s Ben Gray hit a bucket to draw the Thunder within three in the final minute but Kinney answered with two free throws to give the Stars a five-point lead with 11 seconds remaining. Grey answered with a trey but it wasn’t quite enough for the Thunder. “We just missed some open shots, we had chances,” Gray said. Oliver Ebbett paced the Stars with 14 on 5-16 from the floor, 0-5 from the arc, 4-6 from the line, 11 boards and 2 assists. Drew Kinney added 11 on 4-8 from the floor, 1-4 from the arc, 2-2 from the line and 2 boards. Thomas Walsh scored 6 on 3-9 from the floor, 0-3 from the arc and 4 boards.
