In the quarterfinals, the top-seeded St. Stephen Spartans whipped the 8th-seeded St. George Fundy Mariners 83-51 as Wilson scored 20, Scott 18, Hastey 15, Perry 14, Casey 7, Connick 4, Greenlaw 2, McKnight 2 and Bell 1. Dave Craig led the Mariners with 20. Dwayne Cook added 17, Mike Szenerda 4, Trevor McMillan 4, Walter Thompson 4 and Chris Spear 2.

       The 5th-seeded Woodstock Thunder clocked the 4th-seeded Fredericton ‘AA’ Black Kats 77-57 as Grant scored 22, McBride 11, Rector 10, McGuire 9, Young 9, Lenehan 6, Clark 6, Hazlett 2 and Garrett 2. Kevin Christie led the Black Kats with 14. Todd Nason added 14, Derek (Derrick?) Hoyt 10, Jason Shaw 6, Jamie Flinn 5, Steve Dunn 2, Brian West 2, Rod Johnson 2 and Doug Eagle 2, while Rob Cohen and Brad Newman were scoreless.

       The 2nd-seeded Lawrenceville-Bristol Carlton North Stars dispatched the 7th-seeded Saint John St. Malachy’s Memorial Saints x-x. The Saints included Dave Sheils, Jeff Rockwell, John Olson, Marty McCarthy, Harris Angelopoulos, Mike McKay, Mike Sampel, Jim Hunt, Darren Larche, Andrew McKay, Rob Landers, Dan Marsh.

       In the last quarterfinal, the 3rd-seeded Sackville Tantramar Titans defeated the 6th-seeded Campbellton Sugarloaf Bruins x-x. The Bruins included Rheal Leblanc, Chris Bujold, Reg (Rich?) Bernier, David McCray (McRae?), Dean Vicaire, Mar Ouellette, Bob Gorham, Sean Mahoney, David Hanley.

       In the semis, the top-seeded St. Stephen Spartans dusted the 5th-seeded Woodstock Thunder 103-67 as Perry scored 37, Wilson 21, Hastey 21, Scott 14, Connick 5, Casey 3 and Greenlaw 2. Clark led the Thunder with 22, Grant added 16, Lenahan 10, McGuire 8, Hazlett 4, Garnett 2, McBride 2, Young 2 and Rector 1.

       In the other semi, the 3rd-seeded Sackville Tantramar Titans clipped the 2nd-seeded Lawrenceville-Bristol Carleton North Stars 75-61 as Perry scored 24, Finley 12, Nat Garrow 11, Gee Garrow 8, Becker 6, Aube 6, Finley 2 and Parsons 1. Killam led the Stars with 19. Kilfoil added 11, Bell 10, McMann 10, Cuff 4 and Broad 3.

In the final, the St. Stephen Spartans whipped the Sackville Tantramar Titans 82-55 as Hastey scored 28, Perry 21, Walker 14, Scott 6, Wilson 5, Casey 4 and Connick 4. The Spartans led 35-28 at the half and hit 16-22 from the line while capturing their second consecutive title. Hastey told the Fredericton Daily Gleaner that “we got off to a shaky start. Our offence wasn’t going as good as it usually does. We were kind of slow and I think we were nervous at first. But after the first half, in the locker room, we calmed down a bit and we kept our defensive intensity up and our offence just came along.” Perry led the Titans with 12. C Finley added 10, Gee Garrow 8, Nat Garrow 7, J Finley 6, Becker 6 and Aube 4. The Titans hit 9-19 from the line.
