In the quarterfinals, held in Sackville, the 6th-seeded St. Stephen Spartans edged the 3rd-seeded Riverview Royals 79-75 as McGinley scored 26, Doten 18, Hyslop 17, Richards 14 and Estabrooks 4. John Walchuk led the Royals with 24. John McLaughlin added 19, Ian Taylor 14, Todd Coleman 10, Rob Miler 5 and Dave Balser 2.

       The top-seeded Sackville Tantramar Titans clubbed the 8th-seeded Woodstock Thunder 92-68 as McAllister scored 18, McKay 18, Allen 10, Mosher 10, Kean 6, Conrad 6, Walton 6, Brander 5, MacBeth 4, Hess 4 and A Atkinson 2. The Titans led 50-25 at the half and hit 16-23 from the line. Tony Anderson led the Thunder with 20. Gary Beattie added 17, David Winfield 10, Eric Helmuth 7, Dana Barrett 4, Murray Cassidy 4, Jim Slipp 3, Peter Cummings 2 and Mike Keenan 1. The Thunder hit 18-29 from the line.

       The 2nd-seeded Sussex Sonics torched the 7th-seeded St. George Fundy Mariners 74-43 as Currie scored 28, Charters 18, Folkins 12, Anderson 4, Campbell 4, Proctor 3, Keays 3, Whitters 2 and Hynes 2. Steve French led the Mariners with 15. Donald Snell added 8, Terry Hatt 8, Glen Vautour 6, Larry Ingals 4 and David Dugas 2, while Gordon Comeau was scoreless.

       In the last quarterfinal, the 4th-seeded Campbellton Sugarloaf Bruins defeated the 5th-seeded Fredericton AA Black Kats 56-47 as Moss scored 13, Gillis 13, Leblacn 10, Berube 8, Laevski 8 and Dugas 2. Julien Men led the AA Black Kats with 20. Robert Oldham added 10, Tim Thomas 8, Robert Hurley 3, Tom Gillespie 2 and Alex Scholten 2, while Travis Horncastle, Jonathan Howlett, Nathan Hicks and Steve Nissen were scoreless.

       In the semis, the 2nd-seeded Sussex Sonics nipped the 6th-seeded St. Stephen Spartans 55-53 as Currie scored 20, Charters 18, Long 7, Proctor 4, Campbell 2, Folkins 2 and Whitters 2. The Sonics led 29-19 at the half and hit 11-15 from the line. McGinley led the Spartans with 16. Doten added 12, Hyslop 11, Marvin 8 and Richards 6. The Spartan shit 5-6 from the line.

       In the other semi, the top-sseded Sackville Tantramar Titans whipped the 4th-seeded Campbellton Sugarloaf Bruines 79-49 as Allen scored 18, McAllister 15, McKay 13, Kean 13, Conrad 8, Atkinson 4, Hess 4, Mosher 2 and MacBeath 2. The Titans led 37-25 at the half and hit 13-20 from the line. Moss led the Bruins with 18. Berube added 10, Gillis 7, LeBlanc 6, Leger 4, Laevski 2 and Sutherland 2. The Bruins hit 9-15 from the line.

       In the bronze medal match, the 6th-seeded St. Stephen Spartans clipped the 4th-seeded Campbellton Sugarloaf Bruins 78-70 as Hyslop scored 40, Richards 12, Sheehan 10, Doten 6, Marvin 5 and Estabrooks 5. Allie LeBlanc led the Bruins with 22. Robert Berube added 12, Danny Leger 11, Chris Gillis 8, Shawn Sutherland 8, Alex Laevski 5 and Richard Moss 4.

       In the final, the Sackville Tantramar Titans defeated the Sussex Sonics 75-61. The Titans kept high scoring Sussex guard Brent Currie off the scoresheet in the first half and held him to 11 in the second. Their constantly shifting defences appeared to befuddle the Sonics. Allen led the Titans with 15. Kean added 14, along with 11 boards, Conrad 11, Mosher 11, McAllister 20, MacKay 8 and Hess 2. The Titans hit 14-20 from the line, in winning the school’s first title since being built. Charters paced Sussex with 23. Proctor added 18, Currie 11, Folkins 7 and Whitters 2.
